Nexen, a Korean tire company, hosted a media briefing at Overland Expo West. They gave journalists a sneak peak at their new Roadian ATX all-terrain (official launch was not until June 1, 2022). This tire has a 3-ply sidewall, 60,000 mile treadwear warranty for LT sizes, and the 3-peak mountain snowflake/severe winter rating (except flotation sizes). - While I have noticed Nexen at the SEMA Sho...

Yall need to make a smaller to fit in rangers and my brat is what I would really like to put one in
Sorry but the winch style spare mounts are horrible. They rust/corrode & and often will not release/drop. Cables rust & can break. Because it was common for the cables to rust/break...they mandated a mechanical safety on newer ones & they corrode, especially in climates with snow, ice & road treatments for ice control. The older mechanical mount with the drop hinge would work in any condition. Many towing/road service providers will not even do tire changes on vehicles with winch style carriers because they're such a common problem.
Are they available for all models?
Any updates on the 5000x?
No sir, I did not stick with them for very long. They were not bad, but for my heavy applications, the adjustable 9000s seem to work better for me. Still running 9000XL on two diesel pickups.
Not a 35
For future reference on anybody else looking the drum brake does also have a self-adjust feature. Just put it in reverse and then engage the parking brake while reversing until it stops repeat that a few times and it'll self-adjust
Just bought 4 pcs for my Toyota Hilux. Great tyres.
So could this be the culprit to your parking brake not holding on a hill. The gap between the thinner adjuster on the front side/left side of star wheel seems to not be as wide as the passenger side so could that be the culprit to parking brake not holding on a steep hill?
Thank you. Straight to the point
4 turns up or down?
nice, very direct.thank you
Too much extra talking that he's being direct and how to do it
As you began your introduction, my head began nodding in agreement!! When you described your Centramatic...I knew we were brothers!!!!
Thanks You sr very helpful
Back in the day od drum brakes to adjust you would back fast and slam on brakes. This would, make the adjusters rotate 😊
Yup.
Worked great on my Jeep Wrangler! For some reason I am scared to try it on vehicles with the pedal parking brake
What a horse!
my issue is side walls all the time get ripped open even on my skid loader tires i always get hit there and dang my luck wish side walls had more traction as well to craw over stuff. a thought in the future .
So you drive over that massive gap where the ramps are stored?
Why did Van run away 20 seconds into your presentation? He’s the lead seller of them right?
Red Beard is looking like Walter Sobchez from Big Lebowski more and more.
Never heard of them! Must be dead like patriot tires and diesel tires show in general. All you did was change the logo from patriot to whatever that is! No rolling coal on this intro??? That’s what you’re known for!
It's late but congratulations 🎊
When the truck is in neutral, is the engine still running?
Put a vídeo how use the LPD thank's..
I bought one of these and I'm about to install it, but I'm having a heck of a time getting confirmation of a few things. The plug came with a washer, am I supposed to use the washer? Also, what about a gasket? Should there be a gasket in between the plug and the oil pan?
I have never used anything other than the copper washer that the NoSpill comes with. Do not over tighten.
Is it the same diameter with the original plug? Basically plug and play?
so, how do you adjust it ?
You rotate the star wheel I showed.
Did you turn the star wheel 4 rotations or 4 clicks?
i miss this song

@@BlueBonkulus do you have this song? But the original song
@@alejandramarroquin7295 unfortunately no, but i do know there's like one or two of their old songs floating around the internet
Good video - thanks! How much does one tighten the brakes? Do I adjust it until the brakes start grabbing then back off a little?
Finally a video showing where the Star wheel is located
Looks like you have an axel seal gone…..replaced mine last year
Very possible, but not enough to drip/see it anywhere else (yet).
@@RoadTraveler I started seeing smoke on braking….oil burning off on the brakes….wasn’t too bad of a fix
Is there a follow up video on the platinum DEF fluid?? Can you comment on weather it’s worth buying?? What’s your opinion on the product overall??
Not yet, thinking about making one soon... but the short version is that I'm still using it and don't have any problems to report.
That’s nothing but the best winch on the business!👌😎👍
Amazing video. Straight to the point
Great video, thank you. 👍
I bet this guy can do a mean Kermit the frog impression
Please sell me your Craftsman set.
Where did you get the bit to raise the roof to fit the drill gun
Both of my hallmark campers came with a bit, but I keep it as a spare and never use it. The guys at Hallmark themselves prefer to use a bolt, with the sides shaved flat to fit into a drill, the head of the bolt works well/perfectly inside the lift mechanism. Can't tell you the size off the top of my head as I am away from my camper.
@@RoadTraveler of course, a bolt! i’ve been trying to figure this out.
I have a 2010 1500, gonna take a look to see if it's the same. My park brake pedal goes all the way down and doesn't do much.
Same truck. I need to do the same. Was it basically just like this video?
Thank you for doing this video. I just adjusted mine and thanks to this video everything worked great!
would have been nice if the fucker at the dealer would have mentioned this...
Thank you for such an good informational video. After watching this I was able to adjust the parking brake to get the clearance need to remove an old rusted up rotor. Don’t know if I could have gotten it off without this video. 👍
Glad it helped. 👍
Yes! That's exactly what the park brake is for and how to use it - use it all the time when the vehicle is parked. It is the thing that secures the vehicle when the vehicle is parked. Always. It's also not an emergency brake or e-brake. Notice how nowhere does a vehicle manufacturer refer to it as an emergency brake - which is why it always is labeled with a "P" - nor does a vehicle manufacturer instruct to use the parking brake to stop a vehicle in an emergency.
Thank you very much. Mine is a 2016 Ram 1500 SLT. The parking brake would slightly grab but not enough to hold it in place on small incline. I did sixteen clicks upward on the driver side star wheel and sixteen clicks downward on the passenger side (it might need a little more but I'll try it out a few times-- it does hold now on a slight incline). I had a problem at first that that star wheel would not move...this was because the parking brake was engaged (duh!) Thank you.
So don’t adjust with parking break enabled? I gotchu

That is one narrow view.

I only “figured” it out myself a few months ago. Btw, I’m waiting on a summit from Montana right now.

When I get a truck one day ill be dam sure to buy a set
My 2018 Hallmark has the electric motors. If the top is down, you can not easily get to the socket on the motor in the storage area under the bed! I like how yours has the access from the "front" I'll take good care of that motor and I've got lots of spare fuses!
I can't answer your question, I don't know anything about the electric motor version. There place for the tool with my super manual lift is very accessible at the base of the bed, regardless of whether the top is up or down.
@@RoadTraveler Yep, under the mattress there is a round hole with a plug you can remove. I have a socket and drive ready. It would be a pain but you could get it.
So the star adjuster can be turned with a flathead screwdriver?
Yes
