I painted my wooden chairs coal black but i find it too matte, i heard you say you could add some wax to it to give it a bit of a sheen, what kind of wax would you use?

It rained over my seal and stain paint. What should I do? 😢
I have a kitchen table that I want to refinish. I like the look of the glaze I think…. Can I use that on the table top? I saw someone used cashmere paint and then cappuccino SFO… I think it looked good from what I could tell… I don’t want wood grain to show through because it is oak and I messed it up by sanding it too fine - so it won’t take stain well. So I need to paint but would like some sort of finish on it as well.

Milk paint is so fun!
It's becoming more common, but I think it's kinda lazy... just staining the top surface and not the sides. I don't love it. Looks incomplete to me. Otherwise great job.
I have an oak kitchen table that I over sanded the top and now it won’t accept stain well… I tried several different types and it just slid off… now it’s blotchy and horrible looking. Would you suggest painting and then using the SFO?

The original was beautiful, the new one just looks like a badly done paint job Crackle paint is cool for nails, but not really for furniture meant to last.
Ayo i bought this dresser two years ago and used the Fusion Midnight Black for the drawers. I didnt know what i watched to do with the top & sides but seeing that new heartwood stain, i know how im completing this! :)
