Hi Professor G. I did a backdoor IRA to ROTH IRA contribution earlier this year. I had to leave funds in traditional IRA account for few days while waiting on bank transfer to complete before I moved 100% of funds from traditional IRA to ROTH IRA. Later, I received $8 dollars in interest on traditional IRA account. Is it better to move the $8 to ROTH IRA or better to simply withdraw (i realize i have to pay taxes on $8 dollars in both cases). Which option you think is cleaner in order to keep $0 zero balance in traditional IRA?
