awesome!!!
Wow can’t believe how much you’ve done. ❤ loved seeing your old office ANZ plane. You’ve really got a thing about rivets now.
🤣
Did the 210 have any flat spots on the tyres?
It must have, surely.
Please document your entire project | where in the City are you building this?
Hi. We are building this at 91 Loop Street. It’s in the Honey Badger Café.
How did the cafe get its name?
Beats me.
Looking good mate!
That’s hideous
Such an amazing backdrop
Busy!!
😂
Cute paint job on that RV
Gorgeous day
And no cuts on your hand
Well now, that is a pretty good solution for the trailing edge of the wing tip problem. I recently viewed another channel and he went all out by grinding it down and patching it. Super grand idea, thanks. I will be incorporating this into my build if you don’t mind. I should be receiving my wings by the end of July, I also purchased the extended fuel tanks. You’re the first person I have seen with that upgrade. Are you going to use the wing pumps from Midwest ?
Pleased you like it. Personally I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t take the extended range tanks. Very little extra work even if you hardly used them. Not sure about the Midwest pumps. They seem like a reasonable idea but I’ve never heard of the specific incidents where there was a problem and not sure I’m a huge fan of the facet pumps. We shall see. We will probably end up doing it.
awesome video!
200 WOOP
awesome job on the sealing!
ROTFLOL
Go Palessa!
Go Litha
Might need to use some clearing drill on the thumb to get the rivet through :)
I’ll probably do it now that you’ve mentioned it!
Great work there George. Fascinating to see it all coming together. How’s living in Capetown?
Gidday Sean. Yeah a good fun adventure. That’s what retirement is for I reckon.
Does that think move under that bracket? Or will it stay still
It’ll stay still when I’m done with it!
That plastic on the rivet holes looks like a friggen nightmare.
Yep!
So lightening hole. I was wondering why there was holes - thought it was for wiring but no… now I know 😅
Looking great!! It’s pretty!
Omg thats terrible re the stainless steel rivets. What would normal people not as experienced do and what could the outcome be if they did
I guess the rivets would start “working” at some point. I think that’s why they went to Stainless. It’s just that their paperwork is basically $&/?! Terrible.
Hi G looks like you’re having a great time doing what you love best , very interesting !
Looking good mate!
what did that guy actually want - did he think you worked at 91 Loop
No. He just came to chat and ask about the plane.
I’ve learnt about fuel tanks in aeroplanes thanks to watching this. Looking great. I’m trying not to think about how you are going to get this out of there
You ain’t seen nuffin yet!
Awesome. Great progress! Just as well you saw the stuff inside the rudder cap. Love that song the Wimoweh Lion Sleeps tonight - very cool!!
Looking good mate! (Not you, the plane 😎)
What about me?
Oh how was the car cafe coffee
Actually we just looked at the cars since we’d just had coffee but I’ll try it sometime. It’s nearby.
@@SlingCaper cool keep me posted
Nice park
Good you have overalls
Looks awesome
look at that blue sky!!
Big wing - how did you get the string in???
I put the stringer in first. The little one goes in on an angle ok.
woohoo 100
🤣
wow huge progress!!
Any tutorials on how you made that clock/hour counter?
Hmm. Well. It’s a bit of a hybrid of ideas but there are a few videos on similar things on YT. If I was at home I’d be happy to but I don’t have the ability to right now. I used an ESP32 for the brains and cheap LED strings from Aliexpress for the lights. The rest is mainly wood.
Love it. Will continue filling rivets. A.S.A.P
get on with it Harry :)
Yay for coffee and cashew coffee butter
OMG you’re going to busy
Not too bad just having two bits missing out of all that
Yeah, although it will slow the right wing down until we get the hinge bracket.
Did John see the bread lol
Go Glen!
Like the hat - nice score for viewers 10Rand is $1 NZD lol
Great video… Harry’s face 😂 Did the VOR antenna arrive and did the wig kit? Great to see the updates and generally what’s happening. Shawn was asking lots of questions about walking a round and safety so be good to show how it is safe contrary to NZ’ers perceptions.
