So genius for outdoor meals, following y’all for awhile now and I love your videos. If I was ever camping even I’d try to rent one to make some meals like this. Way easier than trying to pack mostly shelf stable and then refilling cooler with ice constantly for perishable food. I always worry I wont replace the ice in time and all food will spoil

What do you do for work that allows you that many days off. Im in college for engineering right now but in the future id like to do some of these crazy trips.

even if your ankles are plenty strong and hiking boots dont protect your ankles, boots just last longer. and a harder sole will protect the bottom of your feet from sharp and uneven terrain, which may not be a structural/injury issue, but definitely makes you more comfortable! get you some comfy insoles you can switch out more frequently, but boots will last 3-5x as many miles as trail runners for a comparable cost range. of course if trail runners are your preference, go for it, but dont think theyre the only option for comfort. the chief unsolicited advice or critique i hear when people want to educate me about why runners are better than the boots currently on my feet, is that runners dry faster. and its true. but thats why my boots are waterproof and i dont walk through water intentionally? "but your feet sweat too much!" maybe yours do. i wear a single layer of socks, toe socks specifically. no liner. i switch them out frequently and let them dry completely between changes. its not an issue for me. i havent gotten a blister in ages and even with my hyperhydrosis, i dont sweat enough to saturate my boots 🤷🏼
