Are the gears inside the plastic/rubber? Just had 2 motors melt in Arizona in one year. Like literally opened them to see why they stopped working and all the plastic gears were completely melted.

Is it possible self charging bicycle

In exactly the same manner, a Toyota hybrid, is self-charging. Just click your heels three times and say there's no place like home;)
@@nc3826 There is a difference between "self Charging" and regen braking. When people mention self Charging for bicycle, then often have the idea of some kind of alternator dynamo where pedaling recharge the battery which this is non-sense. Regen braking on the other hand is often possible but only on fixed gear drivetrain without a freewheel. This motor probably want handle it (and will probably not be updated for since the 25kmh limit makes this feature not that useful except for extreme braking [downhill])
@@elias8981in toyota's ads when they refer to self-charging hybrids iit's reference not having to plug in ie Self charging versus a BEV ...... never mentioning that they have to be filled up with gas instead... they make it sound like it's a perpetual motion machine....its not about regen braking.... Check out the ads to verify... What I was comparing are analogous to each other... misleading nonsense... which is what my comment was referring to ... hard to believe anybody hasn't heard about the controversy over Toyota's hybrid ads... And specifically what it was in reference to... regen braking is a totally different irrelevant rabbit hole, that you're free to stay in if you like... Good luck with your freewheel ;)
Nice. Now offer the CM5001 as a hybrid trail/commuter mid-drive. This new CM5001H will have a quick disconnect throttle wire from a case mounted plug and a quick release lever thumb throttle. This will change it to 100% trail ready, no throttles allowed, for the weekends, but city traffic commute when you need a throttle boost. No one has it and it will sell. Just a tip from your Uncle Vern. Be a leader.

Hi ... I have a Cyrusher XF800 Ebike and it's fitted with Star Union brakes model 150PYD ..could you tell me the EXACT brake pads to buy? ... I need as much information as possible ...dimensions, what material is best (ceramic/resin?) .. I'm in the UK and these brakes are practically unheard of here ... I've been to numerous bike shops and none of them have found any that match ... if there are any compatible pads online (Ebay/Amazon etc) could you please let me know ... I am also a member of the Cyrusher owners group on Facebook and any information you could give me would be helpful for the members of the group ... if you can send me any links that would be great ... thanks.

What if you do not have a bleeding kit.

I have the problem that the alignment to the disc does not work. When I tighten the screws, the brake tilts and is aligned to the mounting surface again, which does not fit to the disc. The bike manufacturer tells that the fork is not deformed. What to do? The brake works extremely bad. It's so weak.

Shimano mineral oil should work just fine.. as a lower cost alternative, I use OEM Synthetic Power steering fluid which is equivalent - "for use wherever CHF 202, CHF11s, or CHR7.1 fluids are recommended. Designed for extreme temperatures (-40c to 130c). CHR7.1 is amineral oil, slightly lower viscosity than shimano brake mineral oil, and the CHF11 (Pentosin) is a synthetic version - just flush the brakes fully so as not to mix mineral oil with synthetic. I have used it on 3 bikes with no issues and excellent braking performance even in extreme extended braking situations, and have read several other reports from riders and even bike shops that use this without issue.
