They have foldable kayaks that could fit on the back or in a saddle bag. Depending on what you want the kayak to do. A trailer for the kayak would be awesome to see though. About the videos, I just love watching you go out and the cool places you find. Keep them coming please.
Fair complaints 👍🏻🇦🇺
I've thought about a kayak trailer as well. Tons of lakes in my area.
Same thing happened to me. The grinder grabbed and jumped towards me in the blink of an eye. Had to kick the plug out of the outlet (extension cord) because I couldn't turn it off as I couldn't let go of it.. Real close call with only a scrape. Now I use only finger triggered grinders... much safer. Thumbs Up !!
Amen Brother... They say... if you don't swing... ya don't Hit !!
Please wear glasses when riding
Uh, ok? I wear glasses all day every day to see....
Boost level? Any idea about HP improvement?
nice
200 miles per tank at least. seems plenty far. why carry extra gas?
Well, it's only 150 miles per tank when it's low mpg. Average is 50 mpg 233 miles, and I get as much as 80 mpg 377 miles. It's impossible to plan gas stops. Also, West of the Mississippi river there isn't gas on every corner. Sometimes it's 300+ miles between gas stops when the little co-op gas stations are closed on weekends. I don't go least distance along major highways, I like to explore. Also not conducive to easily available fuel stations.
nice place
Thank God for tubeless tires.
Good job!
I'm to install a Pro-oiler drive chain oiler that dispenses oil according to a speed sensor signal as i've done on other chain bikes i've owned. If do not have knowledge of which color wire is the speed sensor from the plug, please reply. There's a pink/green; pink/blue, and a solid green color conductors There's usually one wire that sends the signal pulse. Please reply; TNX...
G'day, just came across your channel because I saw the Russel Day Long seat in the splash screen. I have a 2021 CB500X that I bought at auction (they made me an offer I couldn't refuse). It came fully kitted out but still has the stock seat. I am 6.2 and 230 pound and find that the seat is killing me. Its EXACTY as you say, I slide forward and its too narrow in the front with not enough real estate for mafatass :) How much did that seat cost and is it one size fits all or do they custom make it for you ? I live in Oz so would have no chance of swinging by the factory to get it custom fitted.
Around $1200 with shipping both ways, but that was only 1/2 way across the US and not half way around the world. They custom fit it to your height and weight, and you can pick color, stitching, etc. The backrest was around $300 and is optional. I have a video in my CB500X playlist on how to order one.
Wicked!
The road to the memorial is a fun ride. Funny to see you ride there just after I was! Yup, grasshoppers were nuts!
1:37 literally in all the videos ive watched nobody explained that wire. Thanks.
I like the towel trick! I don't have a garden hose where I keep my motorcycle so I got one of those manual pump sprayers used in gardening. It works great for rinsing mud off too
Good job!
Thats pretty cool. I was in Bowman, ND a few weeks ago. I could have seen all this! Did you happen to stop at Lemmon, SD on your way back? A couple cool museums there.
I'm also 6'3. First time rider here... Leaning towards this bike however I've read that the handle bards are a little low for taller guys while standing. Do you find that to be the case?
@@brandonmcmullen1553 The pegs are a much bigger problem when standing. If you're in the correct position to be standing while riding off-road or in difficult terrain, you should be leaned forward and bent over so the handlebars I find to be okay. The factory foot pegs are completely wrong for standing on. They are way too narrow. I got motion factory racing pegs that have studs in them to grab your boots and they are a little over an inch wider and they're almost three times the surface area.
@@KorysRides thanks!
QUESTION BUT I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY THE YEAR I KNOW SHE HAS THAT MANUFACTURING UNDER THE HOOD....SOO WHAT CAN WE DO IF THE PART YOU POUR THE MIX IN IS FLOWING OUT YET WAS CHANGED 3×S WHERE'S THE ACTUAL ISSUE WHERE THE COOLANT GOES❓❓I THINK IT'S A 2 IN 1 QUESTIONS NOW😅
@@user-ni3yo8zo7p so to clarify, you are pouring coolant into the overflow tank on the passenger side of the vehicle, the coolant is going somewhere, and you don't know where it is going? Could be a few things. If it's draining onto the ground, there's a hose that leads out of that clear plastic reservoir that could have come off. You might have a leaking hose or the drain on the bottom of the radiator might be open. If the coolant isn't draining onto the ground, it's going into the engine. Before you panic, If you are really low on coolant, it might take a couple gallons before the radiator and cooling system is filled. If you still can't figure out where the coolant is going, check the engine oil. If it looks milky, you may as well throw that engine away. If you have white smoke coming out of the exhaust or if it won't crank over, it's leaking into the cylinder. If you try and crank the engine over and it suddenly stops, don't do anything else because you can't compress liquid. You have to pull the spark plugs out and crank it over until all the fluid is out, then you can try to start it but it means you have a bad head gasket.
@@KorysRides WOOW I APPRECIATE DIS,&& YESSSSSS U ACTUALLY GET MEH LUV SOO,WE TRIED TU CRANK OIL, ENGINE ,&& TWO MOORE LIGHTS I'LL GO LOOK AFTER THE RAIN && WE KNO SHE'S LOW ON GAS BUT ONCE WE CAN FILL DE TANO WE CAN TRY AGAIN I CAN LET UK WAT HAPPENS IFF U DON'T MIND
@@KorysRides OK SO WHERE DO WE LOOK FOR ALL OF WHAT YOU STATED STTARTING WITH THE HOSE & MILKY OIL??
SHE HAS NOO OIL DRY VERY DRY
Thank you. I'd imagine a switch could be added in between those switches?
@@alexanderpaul3939 I have another video where I put a switch in the line to the front ABS sensor
@@KorysRides I'll check it out now. Thank you
Would love a full build of this I want to do it to my 300 l
Check out the playlist, I have plenty of videos for it
Thanks a lot for this video! I wanted to get these but wanted to see it in use first.
Managed to do it in less than five minutes with your clever technique. Thanks a lot man! Ride safe.
Can you explain us what the purpose of the 02 oxígen in dirt bikes !
You need oxygen to create combustion in any engine. The 02 sensor is required in any fuel injected vehicle so the computer can adjust fueling to it's not too rich or too lean. Narrowband tells only too rich/lean, wideband tells exactly what your air fuel ratio is.
Sand it
I think I would just sew or glue a piece of fabric over the plastic so that it’s attached to the lid. If you don’t care about the look of the actual plastic you could try sanding it so it has a matte look, or buy matte spray to give it a non reflective finish.
It’s a road tyre.
@@grantroberts7207 no it's not
LOVED the disclosure . I bet if the manufacture saw this , they would be alarmed at first (omg! they are bypassing our saftey feature!) but then at the end-- (yea- that makes sense - wish we could say that!)
looks a lil different today
@@RDC_Autosports slightly. Is the house still there next to the dam store? I know the shed out back fell in when the bank eroded
Thanks for the tour. I wonder how old this video is.
@@kirkf4crewdawg604 If you look under the title of the video, it tells you how old it is. This was posted 10 days ago, from the date this comment was made
@@KorysRides I see that. "Made" date and "post" date are not always the same. I guess I should have asked when was this video made (not posted).
Totally appreciate video! Just bought one 2days ago. Move a stick, open a gate, etc. Annoying to have to restart
Do you think the mission would be a better option?
@@josemanuel2244 literally anything would be better than these tires. I haven't tried missions yet, but I've heard good things. I have k60 scouts on it right now that have done pretty well. I still think I'll get two rear tires to every one front tire I wear out
Thank you for your video!
Great video. Enjoyed it very much man. Im thiking of getting a 2024 nx500. Would you say its similar or is yours better? Thanks
It's the same bike mechanically. Different display screen and front fairing
Great to hear. This was the best review from a real rider. Thank you very much
I'll get back here once I have mine... Thank you for this comprehensive and straight to the point review man, I really appreciate it! Much love from Philippines!
I'm between a couple adv bikes but I mainly want to have a lightweight bike to slide around in the dirt and still run 70mph comfortably. What do you think between the CRF300L Rally, CB500X, NX500, and BMW G650 X bikes? The BMW G650 Xcountry is 53hp and 350lb wet which I think would be a sweet base for an adv bike but I'd have to fix the small fuel tank.
None of those are "lightweight". Anything over 300 lbs in dirt is heavy, unless you mean lightweight compared to a Goldwing or something. Cb500x and the nx500 are basically the same thing. Different body panels and I think NX might have traction control, but I haven't looked into it. They are not dirt bikes. They don't have the suspension to do anything serious, but I do plenty of trails with mine. You could take a CRF300L around the world on any road other than the interstate. 70 will be a struggle to maintain. I miss my CRF250L but I wouldn't want it as my only bike. It's too small to do long 500+ mile days on.
I used a gallon milk jug. Worked well.
Well thought out. In my worthless opinion, I like the white box and leaving the luggage rack as is. That way you have that bit of extra fuel over the low profile style and you still have plenty of space out back for luggage. I feel like possibly the flatter tank might also have more residual fuel left at the bottom that doesn't get fed to the main tank but not exactly sure where you are locating the feed or if you planned to minimally angle towards the feed so you were able to capture all of it. Do what works best for you most importantly. Love the channel and been subscribed for a long ass time. I enjoy the content from a genuine honest human. Be safe brother.
Fuel drain would be the forward left corner, so it drains down when on the kickstand. In my other fuel cells, it all generally makes it down the tube from being bounced around on the road. I keep leaning towards the white box style also, because it keeps the weight in front of the rear axle. I don't like stacking all the camping gear higher [on top of the flatbed style tank], either. Did that on my T.W.A.T. ride and it made it really hard to hold the bike up I had to put a foot down.
Thank you, buddy!
10 - 11 = -1 there you go, a negative comment.
😊
That’s a cool idea. I’ll have to go check out that channel while it’s still up. Thanks for the information. Also your fish tanks look great.
I love this idea. After nearly 40 years of riding, I'm looking forward to recording as much as I can recall. Nowhere near as many as I'd like but I'm counting on blacking out a LOT of map. Thanks for sharing!
Love what you’re doing man. Originally followed for the Cb500x content and I’m in WI too. Lmk if you’re up for a ride sometime!
Too much waffling on buddy. You need to get to the point. Terrible review.
And what have you ever made that we could compare it to? Nothing? Just like what your opinion is worth?
I own two of them. A two wheel and a trike. The two wheel was worked over by Stamford Boss Hoss and is just ridiculous. You pretty much can’t give it 100% throttle at any speed without it rolling the back tire. The trike is a cammed LS3 and hauls a$$ but is super easy and comfortable to ride. You get used to the weight on the bike and then a Harley just feels small (and yes, I own a Fat Boy that I’ve made that direct comparison to). I’ve owned everything from Ducatis and Hayabusas to baggers and choppers and the Boss Hoss is way more fun and usable all the way around. Of course, if you’re looking for mileage, you might want to just keep moving along…
Its not an offroad tire. Its mainly a road tire.
No shit. MIX tour. Meant as a dual sport tire. Obviously it isn't a millville knobby.
The little anti-rattle clip. Thanks for pointing it out. I finally figured out which way it went in.
