A recurring theme. Walt sure had a thing for playing with fire. Disclaimer: Copyright of these video clips belongs to AMC/Sony Television. I post this merely as a fan. I encourage anyone who has not already seen the series, to go out and buy the box set, catch it on Netflix or whatever. Just don't miss it. The Rise & Fall of Krazy-8
zhlédnutí 400KPřed 4 lety
Domingo Gallardo Molina was anything but crazy. Tuco sensed something but couldn't pin anything on him. Hector knew Domingo had to be taught a lesson so he had Nacho administer a beating but Lalo was blinded by his own ego. In Better Call Saul S5E2, Domingo clearly knowing that he had the winning hand, wisely folded rather than humiliate his boss. Lalo's hubris was to ridicule Domingo with his ...
Did Hank Schrader mastermind Emilio's death?
zhlédnutí 4,9KPřed 4 lety
Watch Hank groom a naive Walt even to the point of introducing him to his first victim Emilio Koyama and basically giving Walt the instructions on how he would make his first kill. Could Hank possibly be the arch villain of the entire story? I prefer to think of Hank as a clueless Geppetto - without a son of his own, he creates a mischievous protégé who spins a tangled web of lies as he sets ou...

Do you think, just maybe, one time, there is a gang member or drug dealer character that hates gambling and doesn’t like poker …yeah like Gus and Mike …the ones that seem to survive the longest. It’s always portrayed in Sopranos etc as cool blah blah but gambling can get you in the shiz like the one out of Sopranos. My point being- it’s an over used and tired trope. If they wanted to bring it up to date I would suggest the spread betting etc that people do on their phone whilst the games are in action, this is before that really caught on obviously. I just think it’s lazy writing. Gambling is a mugs game and nothing I’ve seen has ever come close to changing my mind. Yet they all , apart from Tuco, lord it over any drug use or users . Not realistic. Edit - last moan I promise, The Prius, that lump Walt’s driving, is THE ugliest car EVER . This includes everything that Citroen has designed. That’s saying something.

Rewatching this reminds me that Jessie’s actor can literally only play Jessie. He’s got that Harry Potter curse of not being able to be taken seriously in anything else he plays.

I've only just noticed it, but in the first scene (BCS) Krazy 8 is wearing the Tampico Furniture uniform. Awesome continuity, as usual, as in Breaking Bad Krazy 8 tells Walt of how he previously worked at his fathers store - Tampico. VARBO BINCE

9:25 -- It's HARD to slide four things in a row that accurately across the floor, all the way to the target without hitting the target with anything more than a gentle bump. And then, the TP rolling just a bit shy makes the whole thing hilarious.

Max Arcienaga was 21 in Breaking Bad playing a character supposed to be in his early 30s. In BCS he IS in early 30s. It's still awkward because he supposed to be in his early 20s. Much less than Hector who is supposed to be in 50s even though the actor is 80 but still.

I thought the actor who played Domingo/Krazy 8 was good both in BB and BCS. While I prefer BCS, I thought his backstory in BCS was good and seeing him develop. Loved the scenes in the basement with him and Walt.

I've watched both shows on repeat (BB 3 times, BCS twice). I'm still wondering how in the heck is Krazy-8 considered Tuco's equal at the beginning of BB? Tuco is like the Mexican equivalent of a made guy, being the nephew of a Don and having scores of soldiers under his command, while Krazy-8 is just an up and coming drug dealer whose only employee seems to be his half-Asian cousin, Emilio. Can someone explain?.
