ZDayZ 2015 Exhaust Competition
This is my footage from the ZDayZ 2015 Exhaust Competition, edited to cut out some of the lull between cars
To address a lot of the comments:
1) This is just one event of many at the annual ZDayZ festival in the mountains of North Carolina. ZDayZ is a huge event built around the Z car but open to all (you'll find a lot of different makes and models there.)
2) The rules of the exhaust competition say you can't spin the tires or do burnouts... That's why you see a lot of drivers taking off gingerly. Not everyone follows the rules, of course!

I led an early morning run with my group. Shortly after entering The Dragon I caught up to a driver behind the wheel of a FRS. Instead of pulling over to let me by he decided to take off and run. Unfortunately for me this meant I was stuck behind him for the entire run. This is the first run of my ZDayZ 2014 weekend. I stayed in the back to give myself a chance to feel out the car before pushing it later on in the weekend. VDC on the entire time (boo.) The Z31 ahead of me said he was having some brake issues (you can see him getting really loose on entry a few times) and eventually slowed and pulled off.

A dry run of the Dragon. We stop for some random reason 3 minutes in. Not really a fast run, but the pace was a little brisk. Battery dies before the run is over.

My first run on The Dragon of 2014. It's a little damp in places so I was taking my time getting a feel for the car. Had a new tire and sway bar setup compared to last year, so it took a bit of time to get comfortable. Overall this is a very slow, safe run. around 3 minutes in I turn VDC off. The battery dies before the run is over... oops. I fidget. I'm like Ricky Bobby, only I don't know what...

Early morning run on the way to the Dragon. Camera car is a 2013 370Z with Eibach sway bars (full stiff front, full soft rear), 265/35 and 285/35 S04s, and Ark Grip V2 CBE. Relatively easy run.

Dynojet Pulls on a "Stage 3" 2013 Focus ST. Mods include: Cobb Intake Cobb FMIC CP-E Catted Downpipe Magnaflow 2.5" Catback Cobb Stage 3 V105 tune E-Focus RMM 255 whp 330 wtq Would probably put down some better numbers with a custom tune. Catted down pipe and 2.5" catback probably hold it back some as well, but there's really not that much more room to go with the stock turbo... safely.
