OpenMarch July 2024 Update - Audio and MusicXML File Support
Designers can now import MusicXML and audio files to design their show off of.
New Features
- MusicXML files (uncompressed) can be imported and their measures parsed into OpenMarch
- Multiple audio files can be imported and selected from to use during playback
- The timeline now has measures, in addition to pages
- With this, you can align pages to the measures' rhythms
- Measures can be edited

A bunch of alignment features, page naming is error-proof, and music integration has started. - Page naming got an absolute overhaul. That shouldn't have taken as long as it did, but hopefully it's done and I never need to touch it again. What's changed? It may not look like much has changed, but December was ALL about transitioning into Electron. OpenMarch no longer needs to run in a browser to work and is fully functional in an Electron instance. Rails has been completely removed in favor of SQLite 3 directly in Electron. March was all about putting in the groundwork for making future feature implementation easier. As new features and classes are built, I'm doing my best to test as I go.
