In terms of battle trades all things count. But what counts most often is capitalising on mistakes (such as marching into death zones), activity levels of your colleagues, timidness, aoe, equipment, talent trees, tech, boosts, runes, titles etc.. etc :)

I hear what you're saying but I don't like percentage based buffs :) I also don't like debuffs so hold the line isn't a bad choice👍👍

I looked at the video again and it was about the best 5 commanders and their pairings. Specifically looking at whales and what they choose across Kingdoms. With a deeper dive into why those commanders are chosen such as complimentary skills and aoe I also wanted to give advice on how to get the Commanders such as sovereign keys in the kvk event But, I like your energy and have thought myself that i get a bit tired lately The main motivation was anti videos that recommend dead Commanders that whales don't use

It's a pov, so do what you think is best. It's all food for thought :)

Hi bro, I agree that victory charge appears weak but imo its still better than march speed lol. Especially because the increased attack increases normal damage and is a variable toward smite damage I don't always go that deep into battle logs but I am interested in something separate lol. I'm wondering why whales use nevski as primary with Joan secondary. Joan's fourth skill triggers the active skill based on the secondary commander. I think that 4th skill unlikely to trigger if Joan is the secondary herself. I would check the reports but i don't have her maxed yet. Arrrgh :)

@@deckheroesstrategyandtips yeah I see your point you will give out more damage but first you need to defeat the enemy and you can’t exist the battle. Like in a murder ball you usually go back and forth trying to active your aoe. But that would mean that you always exist battle? But I’m not sure about this? And march speed is for me at least (but I’m not as strong as you) a life saver 🛟. And It makes you much more mobile on the field which means you can fight better. But again I’m not as strong of a player as you. But it would be interesting hearing your thoughts?

i must admit i have been thinking about the murderball dynamics. Not in terms of march speed, because i dont fear attacks and i try not to get drawn onto their side of death. But more so in terms of aoe vs single damage commanders if i am aiming for 5 on 1 battles. But on balance, its probably better to have aoe and not need it than need aoe and not have it right lol. Also, always a lil bonus kills with aoe. But with my approach, I like to march through the opposition asap most generally so.. its all down to playing style overall and what suits us best (plus our rss and speed up reserves)

I must admit I love Joan prime and most of the whales tend to include her. I did dabble with William the 1st for few days, but overall I think Joan Prime is definitely worth having. I have her 5542 at the moment on the way to maxing her. I think I will be happy with the investment :) I love her aoe and rage buffs and damage buffs, health etc. Its all good :)

I hear you and maximising him would make him more tanky as you said. Also as you said, his performance for me would've been heavily affected by that. Furthermore, I could pair him with someone like Constantine (or someone like him) to get the health, defence and skill damage reduction. But I like that you pair him with huo for that out and out aggressive damage :) It has given something to think about so sincerely thanks for that!! Using him as secondary halves honda active skill damage though? Hondas 3rd skill gives 5% damage reduction and expertise gives a 30% normal damage reduction which is likely to be every other second so fair enough :) Also I like his high aoe, attack bonuses, damage bonuses, unit capacity bonuses and skill damage bonus. But most of all he's helping you enjoy open field and that's awesome :))

@@deckheroesstrategyandtips hey, thanks for the video nonetheless.. but I got to tell you - his expertise is not reducing normal damage , but ‘damage’ itself. 30 + 5 (from 3rd skill) of that is tankier than any health or Defense stat of the same number since all damage includes all sorts of buffs and that’s the thing that’s being mitigated. I would not recommend ever using him as primary because the rage cycle is too high. He only works as a secondary and in my opinion he’s better than a William with trades.. Honda can be paired behind anyone and he’s basically a better Mehmed (when expertised) The reason why I like him behind huo is because he gives him that sustain he badly needed from his tankiness and also some decent aoe. Have a good day - and if you’ve gotten so far, max him from dailies 👉👈

Especially maxing him since I'm so close lol But, trying to max nevski (currently 5521) and Joan prime (currently 5542).. omg, I have a loooooonnnng way to go :)) The top guy (called rpg risen), and I will do a video, always beats everyone with his 5 armies so I need to match that before I can beat it :) Also, he's vip 18 and I'm 1.2m vip points away lol (I'm vip 17)

Regarding mge commanders in general they tend to be role specific. For example, overly rally or overly garrison etc. Mge commanders don't usually tip my interest because I'm not a rally man, and I don't recommend overly investing in garrison (best policy is to not get rallied hehe). But will keep am eye of for future archer mge commanders. For me I only invested in pvp archer commanders such ad ZL and Hermann Prime :)

I have given it a bit more thought and crunched the numbers. You're probably correct He potentially does high damage to one Commander, but that's a the usually single damage Commander smoke screen where it will it will never do as much damage as genuine aoe. I do like the rage defuff from the tree which is huge, and the health ironically and the shield (double ironic). But definitely the potential that this Commander will not age well Lui Che does much more damage without the 80% probability limitations of William Wallace. I think the battle calculators will show him as a beast, but those calculators are 1v1 instead of 1v many aka pointless. Yeah, overall, is a 4.5/5 Commander and I will prioritise other commanders You gave me things to think about, thanks for that!

A balance of aoe type damage to one Commander, thinking my main guy guan has zero heath boost, thinking about the token shield and defence boost as better than nothing, potential when fighting from a ball, the rage rebuff from the talent tree, balancing his weaknesses via specific pairings Most of all I think I'm inclined to prefer aoe Commanders, but had time to reflect on the massive damage he does even as a single target Commander overall What's your rating of William Wallace. I sense you're not convinced hehe

@@deckheroesstrategyandtips I think overall I’d give Willy a 7 or 8. He’s not bad but he’s not amazing and it’s certainly TBD when testing is done and we see how he really works with LC or the rally commander they’ll be releasing. For me it’s a matter of sustainable value. If it’s not a large improvement to a march it’s usually not worth the investment to me. Maybe the pairings will surprise me but unless it’s vastly better than LC/Alex (my best march) I’d rather save the universals and run Guan/Scip. Lastly, he’s only good in a ball if expertised. Hermann Prime is great in a ball but the value is all in the first skill (poison stacks, big AOE). Other meta commanders (Zhuge, LC, Joan… Nevsky) have their ball value in the first skill as well. So I dunno. I can be wrong and I’ll happily invest if he’s awesome, but I really do think he’ll be like Sargon. Useful, cool, interesting… not valuable. The sargon mistake still burns me too lol. Sargons biggest problem is being a single damage Commander who does that damage too slowly. But that's a huge problem. I remember him being recommended by sponsored creators and they're still doing what they do I cannot see how the 1v1 stats won't be amazing, but will defo be interesting

I think it's more predictable at the very top end, but much less predictable as we go down the rankings. If was to bet on women's tennis I'd have to watch the match closely and pick up on their form directly. For me it's quite an unsettling experience because seen plenty games where there is a 6-1 set then 3-6 set then 6-2. The swings are what i dont like. I like certainty or at least consistency. In my point of view I don't see that often enough yet Similar for male challenger level is similarin some ways. Too many errors and small differences in talent levels between players meaning games can go either way What's your point of view?
