I love how the spider showing up is literally a recreation of his intro scene in the first Devil May Cry game, even down to his dialogue being near the same and Bayonetta's dialogue/actions mirroring Dante's. Even the music that starts playing sounds like Phantom's boss theme from the first DMC. Things like this really do sell the theory of Bayonetta and Devil May Cry sharing a universe.

After playing the whole game I have some thoughts: 1) I liked Bayonetta 1 and 2 more, the sound track was a little bit better and bayonetta was more sassy and 18+ and that differentiated her from other main characters and made the game stand out. 2) as for the story I think it was well written, so I have absolutely no problem with that even the ending was fine. 3) now regarding you and your character Viola, I like her as a character but from a gameplay point of view, I strongly dislike her witch time mechanic 😅 (as do many others) for your role as a voice actress, I didn’t notice a worse voice performance compared to others, so I think you did good 😊 This came from someone that did not know you prior to this! Also since it’s clear Viola/you will have a huge role in Bayonetta 4, how excited are you?
