As in Sport, so in Life | Lewis Moody
After a career spent at the very top of elite rugby, former England captain Lewis Moody worked with a life coach to help him with the difficult transition into retirement.
In part two of our chat, Lewis explains that he found it so useful he made the decision to retrain and become a performance coach himself.
He discusses how his own experiences and observations in sports culture have helped shape his approach to improving individual and team performance in other fields.
He explains why regular feedback is integral in sports but is overlooked in business, describes why accountability is so important in leadership and shares his thoughts on the importance of regular self-reflection to keep yourself heading on the right path.
He also shares the unusual challenge of parenting a son with a blossoming sporting career of his own.

    1:06:32 Jeremy that's being ambitious so your statement of not being ambitious is flawed no matter what you say to convince otherwise that is ambitious plan and the fact is you have been ambitious throughout all of Top Gear and Grand Tour fact if you weren't ambitious you wouldn't be working or at least 10 jobs like you just said 😂

    I love both of them but I sure hope Kaleb learns some humility. He is getting the spot light and making all the money BECAUSE of the golden opportunity to be working on Clarkson's Farm. It would be nice for him to acknowledge that privilege and be humble about it. I love him but his cockiness rubs me the wrong way often.

    CONSTANTLY being interrupted by two who are so full of themselves that they need someone new to interview so they can be filmed interrupting the next subject. As to Jeremy and Kaleb so sad. Kaleb should charge ten thousand pounds per interview and add a surcharge of 100 pounds per interruption. He needs the money to buy his farm. (Or at least, no more interviews wasting his time)

    This non- petrol head watched it purely coz I found Jeremy as a funny bloke on Top Gear. I watched it with my daughter and we binged the entire series. Jeremy was still hilarious. That’s all I wanted. Wholely satisfying given how much he bagged climate change in the past, but can see who it affects farming. Anything that brings attention to farmers makes me happy, coz I was raised on one. But my dad saw the writing on the wall back in the mid 70s and we sold up and left. I miss the farm more than I care to admit, because it IS in our DNA. We NEED the land and we need to grow our own food and if we live in cities we NEED farmers to be paid a decent price so they can keep feeding us all. I love Jeremy Clarkson for what he has done for farmers. Even more than I loved all 3 of the To Gear guys together - and that is a considerable amount indeed !!!

    That's what makes the program great, genuine people, not these false rich people who are mostly all they have on mainstream, acting for example why don't we have working class people playing working class rolls instead of rich people pretending to be poor, it's false! People see through it and it doesn't make good TV, all the great programmes from the past were the same, but now there's so much money in it, there's no room for poor people unless they're so talented someone else will benefit from them, then they try to keep them low profile incase they break away for a great career!

  • @wayne19731
    @wayne19731 Před 9 dny

    Where's the media on this? I used to farm as a kid with my Dad, he did ok out of it, built a trout pool for people to pay to fish, we had bird feeds in the woods so people could pay to shoot as well as market gardening! Seems like the media doesn't have the British people welfare in mind they seem to care more about the treatment of illegal immigrants, I can grow my own food so it won't cost me anything apart from some cash towards meat! These so called reporters will have a problem when it's to late, if they still have a job, everyone I know doesn't watch mainstream TV anymore, TV licence isn't worth it for their biased views of the world! We're not interested, internet age makes it to easy to get the truth, leaves the mainstream media looking like a bunch of idiots! Makes me wonder if it's by design or just uninformed people trying their best but consistently getting it wrong, which do you believe is most likely?

    Kinda dropped out last 4 years, didn't watch TV, listening to this about Clarkson & Kaleb running a farm sounds like the most real reality programme that's been made, it's relavent to us all who eat food and wear clothes, farming one of the most important businesses yet its so badily paid the government has to give farmers money grants to grow food cereals meat & milk for the public and keep prices down, it's basically the same in Ireland.
