I find this playing without picking fascinating. Any tip for this type of technique? Like what kind of pedals you're using? Anything to help the sustain?
Thanks for your comment. I don't use any special pedals, but basically I try to play with a light touch and a loud volume on the amp. By doing so, I get more sustain.
@@tub-guitar Ah, thanks for the response. A lot of time guitar players won't want to give out tips because they want to keep their knowledge to themselves. You're a man after my own heart, I'm not really a pedal guy either, I've always preferred the sound of the guitar straight through the amp. This is even more impressive than Vai's Whispering a Prayer, since he uses a sustainer on that (although I like the "Whispering" melody better).
