The E2 code indicates a tip-over function activation. Ensure the heater is positioned at an angle less than 60° to resume normal operation. If the angle exceeds 60°, initiate a restart of the heater.

Also outdoor conduit is considered a wet location, and NM (Romex) is not rated for install in wet locations. It would need to be THHN wire for this install as well. Not to mention the massive over-stripping of length on all the AC connections as well, the hot lead was stripped out past the end of the breaker when it was installed!

14AWG is the guage the manual calls for for 115V 20A breaker. Is this a fire hazard?

@@user-ud1sv6li7s 14 should be fine. Certainly if your whip is only 2 or 3 feet long and using stranded wire like THHN. Stranded wire is a bit better than solid wire carrying current. Along with the fact that the unit isn't typically going to be using anywhere near 20 amps and more likely half that or less except in extreme conditions. All that said. 14ga is the bare minimum that should be used. If 12 or even 10 is easily available then use it. Over building is never a bad idea.

The water level will make a 5s indication sound when it is too low. The water shortage icon in the display will light up red and the machine will turn off automatically. @@TurbroStore Thanks for the reply. I understand why clearance on the top and sides of the indoor unit is important. I don't understand why it needs 8 feet below it. We only have about 6 feet below it.

Hi, this heater is heating by low level radiation and it's harmless to human. You could siting near and enjoy it and it won't dry your skin or air.
