Some recommendations for early game: play the Promised land mission which will give you multiple claims (whole of Arabia’s and Mesopotamia) ally with Egypt which will give you free land at the end of the diodochi war; and take Nabatea (all of it = Egypt cannot have direct land access to arabia or they will lock you _ hire mercs and assault).. For Samaria become friends with the ruler and after the diodochi war go to war against the Phoenician city states, Egypt will aid you, take them and force the antigonids to release Samaria, you’ll ally them and with 25 political influence you’ll get their land.. After that try to entice Egyptian governors in Canaan and Syria and then just follow the mission tree..

All of the people dying have been employed in their respective jobs with nary a break for the past 57 years. No wonder they’re dying. My personal favorite was Huber Jauvin, first contact specialist and spy network enthusiast.

I know I’m terribly late, but I just wanted to say; Imagine being Hubert Jauvin. He’s spent basically every day of the past 40 some years working on alien communication/contact protocols. He’s got to have a massive knowledge base, and is probably the most overworked employee in the entire Star League. He’s also got some pretty cool credentials, namely making first contact with over half a dozen separate alien civilizations, probably including the Slerpanor and definitely including the Voor, and in his spare time, he’s undercover in a hostile alien empire building a spy network. In his SPARE time.

This just makes me wanna play Imperator again. Can Judea into china??

a while ago I heard that the mission gets screwed up if you dock, because it loses track of which vessel it is. I am most curious how this goes. I'm working on my Eve shot now too, re-entry is tough

Queueing all of the resources in your nation was a serious mistake. When a resource is queued for construction, the private queue cannot construct it. You essentially prevented your private queue from accessing all resources in your country for zero benefit.

On the maneuver node, you can change the sensitivity on the window, with the bar that is under sensitivity, you can also manually write the values

It looked like there might be a setting for ejection force for the decoupler. Also, if you twisted the rocket when decoupling, you may be able to take advantage of centrifugal momentum to throw the SRBs out further from the fuselage

You should be able to achieve a polar orbit of Mun directly from an equatorial orbit of Kerbin if you set your orbital trajectory to impact Mun and then burn Normal/Anti-normal to come in above or below.

At least the physics glitches aren't that bad for a game in Early Access. Too bad Juno LEFT Early Access over a year ago, after spending 5 full years in Early Access, and yet still hasn't bothered to fix the contract breaking glitches like the tile stitching issue.

it is a good idea to put the parachutes in action groups. I use one for cut, one for repack, and one for deploy. arm doesn't seem to be needed

You absolutely need to look at the tech tree more. Most of the missions are locked behind certain techs, which are marked by a $ sign on them. The reason you are being only given CubeSat missions is because those are the only space based missions you've unlocked, partly because they are the only ones you are capable of with your current tech. They are really mainly designed to be "Filler" missions for funding. Missions that unlock more kinds of missions will be labeled as "Progression" missions.

3 days of covid and I watched 78 of your ksp 2 so far 😂. Try to calculate when it's beneficial to get rid of 2/4 of tanks and engines when you're in quad symmetry. You can definitely plot that with the amount of fuel/ weight and thrust, compare thrust/weight of dual and quad symmetry and determine when it's more beneficial to get rid of two out of 4 of those (while transferring remaining fuel ofc)
