I am saving up for a bike next spring. I am getting fitted for gear soon and will be studying so I can pass the classes. I also have a couple of friends who own bikes, and they say it's the best feeling on the road. The one thing that will always scare me is riding in the rain, so I have 2 other cars for that.

If I'm at a stop light, is it fine to just leave the bike in first gear while holding the clutch, or should i shift to neutral anyway?

I genuinely appreciate how he explained it a MILLION times over and over again cus at first "open the clutch" confused me but as he said it again and again I slowly started to understand and now I think I got it! But I don't have a motorcycle yet so I don't actually know if I would actually be doing ANYTHING right. Anyways, safe riding out there!! <3

Thank you brother. I was really nervous after being off the bike over a year from a back injury. Shifting has always been a major stressor for me. Always had a hard time with getting a straight answer as to what parts were simultaneous and what parts didn’t need to be. This helped a lot!!!

Think learning the lightest motorcycle why on my CMSp class we fall and I almost did too on my first time 2 speed clutching. Add we wobble twist as a beginner is best lighter motorcycle. The helmet hurt pressure the skull I couldn't use mine. NO description of the pressure and no sponge for the skull. A helmet designer needed that test explain pressure and bounce and add airways to not overheat in the helmet.
