We are not allowed to say no pets, however we are able to charge up to 3 months deposit for the pet. Damage deposit, yes that is a legal request, that is not illegal....guessing you got your facts from the internet, or possibly a crackerjack box? Also, if you are the person who rented the accomodation as most good tenancy agremments will state you are not allowed to sublet the property... so yes you can have a partner with you, but having others move in without proper approval aka criminal background checks, etc will have you in violation of your tenancy agreement(unless they have no idea how to write one)
they however can black list you so using that threat they can do anything

I had a tough pregnancy I was in the hospital couldn't bring my baby back to the house because the landlord wouldn't fix all the mold. Because the roof need to be fixed for 3 years that I was there. When I was at a family member's house to heal from having her they drilled the lock out of the door and took everything I owned. It's been 8 months and I still haven't got any answers back from them. Other than They thought I abandoned the house and I told them that I did not And you guys know that because I told you I wasn't bringing my baby back in this mold house....and they told me that they were gonna get me the keys. Then they never did.

@@maymae182 there are lawyers and organizations that provide free aid to those who cannot afford it. It's not on par with a private lawyer, as you can imagine they typically have a ton of clients, but it's better than no lawyer. Apparently it's very difficult to win a case on your own, even if you do everything right. Having a lawyer gets you more leeway with judges. There's videos on CZcams about it. Don't give up. I had to do the same

*Technically* we "could" go on vacation whenever we want.....but there are almost always consequences to doing so! haha. Unless you have your passive/residual income streams set up, which helps lessen the consequences. Thanks for sharing, Aleks! :D
