You know, Mattia, living in Rome is like living in a post-apocalyptic world with all the ruins that are embodied in the daily landscape. Having spent a considerable amount of time there, I was continually amazed at how the ruins exist right alongside the gas stations, restaurants, and even in the neighborhoods of the city. It is rather haunting and will always remain a remarkable part of my experience. This condition gives the ruins a surreal feel. 😊

I know that when this happens, I'll cry for 1 week, 1 entire day or 1 month, because I really love my parents, even if I fight them or in a discussion saying words like: "I HATE YOU! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU ANYMORE" but they only want my good side and teach me how the life works, and sometimes they aren't exemplar parents, and I understand it cuz they are on a different ages, and now we are a techonologic generation, when everything is fast and evolution increase every day. I feel bad for these people that already lost his parents, uncles, dogs, cats and so many important people and I know that's so painful, but, go ahead and don't give up of your life because of that, you guys are special, stronger and can everything. You reside in Rome where the church and religiosity are all around you and so very real, in the water, and in the air. This phenomenal creation is all about that. This aesthetic experience is like entering a cathedral or monumental place of worship where sound and emotion are greatly magnified. I grew up as an alter boy, supposed to live my life serving the church. Well, it did not quite work out that way. But I feel this moment you have so masterfully created in my bones.
