This is a great song! Thanks for sharing it! I’m currently studying about Elul and about the “King being in the field.” I learned more from this song than some teachings I’ve listened to.

@@stuartnicholson8298 my friend, again, read Isaiah, 53 for yourself. He doesn’t mention anything about making the blind see, or the lame walk. Rather, he talks about one who suffers for the sake of the world. If you really want to stretch it, then you can [falsely] think that it is Jesus, who is the subject of discussion. (Especially you would think so because he is speaking in the singular, right?) But in fact if you read all of Isaiah, you’ll see that this is the way he writes and speaks through: he mentions all Israel as one man, e.g., (44:2), “Fear not, my servant Jacob;” (44:1) “And now, hearken, Jacob, My servant.” The one who’s suffering for everybody is the Jewish nation suffering for the sake of the world. That’s the meaning of the prophet. And he later prophesies as well that there will be good times to come. My friend, read the words yourself, without any preconceived notions, ideally in the original text/language. And use your brain to understand (that’s not an insult, just the fact people as if leave their brains elsewhere when reading Torah, use your brains logical faculties, and you’ll be good). Highly recommend Rabbi Mizrachi’s Torah and Science 4 hour lecture. And his debate that he had with a priest. Enjoy.
