Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial! I'm coaching for the first time for my young nephew's football team and this was one of the best videos I've seen so far!
So glad you found it useful!
Work on the "uhs" per minute my guy I couldn't even make it thru the intro
😂 Great job coach I’m wearing headsets forever
I played football at John Glenn in Bay city MI where John loop coached who played for engal at bay city central. We ran the. Full. House T. I loved it. 3 yards and a cloud of dust. 40 and 41 bread and butter play.
Thanks ❤
Thanks Sir!❤
How do these drops look on the hash?
Great question. I should have addressed that. So for level 1 I honestly wouldn't even talk about it with the kids. I would just roll with the odds of the habitual landmarks. If I had a team that practiced every day we would occasionally do the same drill from the hash and let the kids see that the zones to the boundary have condensed and the zones to the field require some extra hustle.
KISS ✌️
Coach, I love the Backside 2x2 backside operation... Oorah, Let's GO!! Applying that one ASAP... K.I.S.S.
Let's go peay!
This what you do against LBs that read guards. 👍🏿 btw Both guards pulled
They must run wing t
It appears that the guard false pulled.
Neither guard pulled at all
@@dylanwillan5279left guard definitely pulled

Excellent information!
Thanks for watching, Coach! Glad you enjoyed it.

We used to do the a rabbit drill. Same concept but the entire D does the updown while a ball carrier runs up the sideline. Each position had their pursuit landmark but the ball carrier added in the adjustment factor in my opinion. Plus it made it more of a competition rather than just running. Side note; as a corner I obviously hated all of this
Which Software do you use for the Play?please PM me
just a shitty backer haha a good player meeting that shallow with a hit stick

Who's going to the LB?
awesome. I wish we had these variations when we were in high school
Great video, love wing-t and flexbone. Always levels the playing field for defenses. Thanks again coach and...#GOBLUE
Thanks coach. I’ll 66 years old and still coaching. You have reminded me that coaching is the easy part but everything that you went through are the stepping stone to enjoying it even more.
What is the target point for the pulling linemen
That sounds reasonable
Got to watch this play first hand from the sideline. Kids a beast
Holding in the back field
The single wing lives. You see it every time you see a pulling guard, every time you see a sniffer, every time you see unbalanced formations, every time you see a double handoff, and especially every time someone gets into the “wildcat.”
It's a versatile offense and many styles of "single wing" including Spread formations. I've coached it in youth league football. It's great for teams who can't always rely on having a passing QB and Recievers to run a pro-style offense. The core play is the power off tackle. You can slow it down but if you're stopping that play you're over committing and have weaknesses elsewhere and that's when a single wing team will exploit that and hit you for a big play.
How do we get this scheme on paper?
I don't think he has it on paper! Look him up on twitter, Coach!
I ran the straight T for years and just ate teams up with it. When done right, it's impossible to stop even when you know what's coming. 20 years, literally 20 years and multiple years I had multiple 1000 yd rushers. Just demoralize your opponent, both player and coaches.
Some of the best d linemen I've coached in 25 yrs at the high school level have been smaller guys. Wrestlers actually. I've had some guys playing inside 185-215 lbs maybe 5'10 some of them. Studs. Most them playing dt. Great leverage. I'd slant them sometimes. Had a couple all state kids that size playing inside. Doesn't matter. You just scheme it for your kids.
Well said, Coach. Coaches have a bad habit of looking at the shape of a kid instead of the skill of a kid.
@@chiefpigskin I had 2 interior kids this yr 215 and 185. Studs. One was all state up here in New York. I've had bigger kids as well. We all have. It's nice to dream....but that's not why we coach. Can't always have it our way.
