    Thank you for your videos, they are great! These days, I am deciding between doing a pilot´s license (preferably LAPL) or investing in home flight simulator (I have already built a simple one, but thinking about improving it significantly). I would like to ask you, whether you still sometimes use your home flight simulator even after obtaining your pilot´s license. Thanks :) Simon

    I have 4 monitors, 3 55" monitors for scenery and 1 smaller monitor for instruments. Following your procedures I can't get the instruments to show on the smaller monitor once in x-plane11. What am I missing?

  • @IgorSerbinin

    Nice. Wonder if you can point me in the right direction with my set up. I have same side view TV's as your cockpit but front screen is 65 inch TV instead of projector like yours. I seem to cannot level and coordinate the views between those three TV's which work as external visuals only on a slave PC networked to master pc that drives instruments on two touch screens in the dash. The problem is that front view i get tilted upwards and half of it is covered by panel that i seem to not able to get rid off from PlaneMaker. When i try to change view point in Plane maker for the visuals screens on slave PC do i need to match settings in master pc for that plane modification? Sorry for loaded questions but when i look at your perfectly matching views between two side screens and front view it appears you may know the solution. Awsome channel and great work! Igor

    What graphics card are you using to only have 1 HDMI and 1 Displayport on it? That splitter is rather expensive, I would have thought it would be cheaper to just sell your GPU and get a better one with more outputs?

  • @dennisdorsi9866
    @dennisdorsi9866 Před 3 lety

    A quick question. I have 3 40 inch monitors and a standard 21 inch monitor but I notice after a dozen views that you do not use a standard monitor for windows but use the left monitor for windows. My displays show up as the 21 inch monitor is #1 and all three of the 40 inch displays show as #2. I am going to remove the 21 inch but where do you connect the actual computer? I have all three monitors connected to a hdmi hub as you do but not sure how to connect the computer so I see it on the screen like you are doing?

  • @dennisdorsi9866
    @dennisdorsi9866 Před 3 lety

    I have been searching for the hdmi hub from Startech that you have but am having a hard time finding it. What is the name and model # of the hub that you have. I really appreciate it. I am not that tech savvy and have bought 2 different ones now that I will send back for a refund but not really sure what I am looking for. Any info and help is certainly appreciated.

  • @DD-zk9hh

    Hello ! Thank you for sharing the inspiring video. I wonder how do you connect the 3 TVs to your graphic card. Do you use DP to HDMI adapters? Are they all passive adapters or active adapters ? I have a 1070 graphic card. And I don't know what I need to buy. Thanks.

  • @darrenharley-simracing7363

    Can I just ask about this and the splitter from the set up video? I saw you had commented about not using all the outputs on your graphics card as it'll drop your fps ( and the fact you didn't have enough outputs ) Can I just ask, is there a reason you didn't install A.M on the main pc and are running it from a laptop? I'm just about to embark on a very similar build to yours (only using 3 screens and not a projector) and although I have a 2080ti, I don't want to use all the outputs as I also sim race and want to keep a screen free for that too. I was thinking splitter for the three screens, touchscreen for A.M and another screen for my racing sim. Will it work? Cheers.

    Great tutorial. On similar cockpits some have decided to see out front the plane’s bonnet or cowl along with the propeller. How can one achieve this. I have tried but failed because the front panel is part of the main fuselage. Yet, some people have achieved this. I have asked them how they did it but no one has replied. Can you help?

    • @aviatorsj9025
      @aviatorsj9025 Před 4 lety

      Hi David when selecting what parts you do or do not want visible you should be able to just leave the engine cowl on the front of the nose and should be visible when opening up Xplane, hope this helps I may do video tutorial soon on how to exactly do this!

    • @rockyrowlands3652
      @rockyrowlands3652 Před 4 lety

      I have tried this, but it seems if you delete the fuselage the front cowl will also disappear. It seems the cowl and fuselage are one of the same part. So going back to my original question, how can I get rid of the fuselage but leave the cowl visible?
