“what he somehow become” his father was irrevalent(?) to him. his mother was combative and unhappy to everyone. his brother was bullying him. he was a prince and only member of his family that didn’t have a dragon. humiliating. and when he lost an eye, not to mention losing an eye was a huge trauma alone, his father didn’t even care. instead he blamed him whilst his mother losing her mind. alicent’s behavior that day. yes it may stronged their bond but it made him even angrier inside. he is well-read, great swordsman, understand politics and a great dragon rider. while his drunk, rapist, lazy brother sits the iron throne he is still unvisible. yeah, he became what he became. but just look how, it’s not that hard.

They cut out his eye even though they had a chance to run away Again at that scene of dinner they started the fight And killing ageon was ageon,s fault. I mean he spent his entire life tormenting his brother. That brothel scene was the reason aemond tried to kill ageon. All his actions are the result of someone else's faults

the very first thing i didn't like about fruits basket was making yuki's mother redeemable. guys, she's literally the major reason why yuki dealt with his trauma. unlike momiji and kyo's mother, they dealt with the trauma of having a zodiac children while all she dealt with was the problem about her finances. i didn't like how the author made her image into just nagging spoiled mother in the parent's conference and her giving advice to yuki to not soak himself with his phone as a sign of "care". sorry yuki's trauma was too much than her bare minimum motherly lectures.

Yuki sohma honestly has the saddest backstory in my opinion out of all of them. He didn’t deserve any of the crap he has to go through. His point of view honestly had me in tears.
