Pretty sure i will get this wheel and the alpha mini. Now i just got to decide on a cockpit first. I actually got out of bed one night to order the sim lab px1 i was tired of thinking about it. I put it in the cart with the monitor mount.. $250 shipping (without) a seat! Went back to bed😂. You got any recommendations on cockpits for someone in the USA? Also like the trakracer tr8 but it didn't show them in stock.. idk what to do 😂

Finally something worked for me. I have tried everything. This program finally worked for WRC

Something nobody will tell you is. Thede 5 to 7 or 8nm belt wheels feel stronger then 5 to 8 dd wheels. Just the way the belt and motor is pulling feels stronger then the way magnets react in a dd wheel. Ive alwyas understood why dd wheles feel better in the hugher nm range even if you were to lower settings a bit. For me it took about 15nm to truely undrrstand why dd is so so good not just in smoothness but the reaction and response and snap with that extra torque. Even if resucing down to 8nm its still worth having a 15+ nm wheelbase thats dd. If i didnt finslly get to try the stronger ones i would have stuck with my cswv2.5 because yes i liked it more then any 5 to 8nm dd wheel on the market. But I will say 1 full second is the difference between winning and losing many times over again. Lol But yes you wont gain times with either of these.

That's a definite down step from the old RS. I still have two of them, one is my handbrake for rally. I took the sequential top lengthened the slot and removed the spring. I added an external spring for tension and it really works great. I have it in the analog hand brake mode. It's brilliant. I am so happy with my Fanatec shifter, switching from sequential to H pattern is a breeze. You can adjust the tension on it too. My only complaint is they did not grease it from the factory. Dry it would wear out fairly quickly.

There is a shifter with a lockout system (I have one) called the Bash Pro by MVH. Very pricey, but I think it's just the tip of the iceberg and we will see this more often, and more affordably, in the future.

I had it for maybe 3 days, this thing would not stay mounted to a desk or my sim rig. I was so looking forward to it being even decent, however it was not to be. My opinion is it's a piece of junk, even the logitech is way better.

I've owned the TH8S for five months, and it's true that shifters could only be used on some occasions. Having said that, I've had fun racing online with the H-pattern but still need some practice with auto-blip turned off. What I also found it does well at is being a vertical handbrake when you tick analog mode!

You review this as a starter kit but would this be a good upgrade from a Logitech 920? I have been looking at PXN V12 Lite and Fanatec CSL DD as well. All in the same price point. Trying to figure out which Direct Drive to upgrade to. Help!

What’s the bolt pattern?

I have the old T-GT and dreamed about a DD for a long time. And finally tried out a fanatic DD and did conclude that the wheels were very similar. I could not tell the difference really only slightly so I kept my T-GT in the end.

I started in 98 when I bought a PS, Gran Turismo and 2 steering wheels that you put between your legs and sat on. The pedals slid around on the floor. I wiped the floor with all the fast kids in my Battalion. I was in my last year in the Army. Now I have PC and a PS5. I race on triples and single screen. Mostly I use the PC for American Truck Sim and WRC. For racing I like the PS5 it has chat and all included. GT7 Kart racing league Wed. & Sat. nights 10 pm Eastern US. It has been running since GT6, about 10 years.

I have seen many pictures on the Internet of the NEO GT with its rubber handles peeling off. How is your after normal use?

Something about the name 'Conspit' just sounds strange to me. Every time I hear it I focus on the 'spit' part lol. Button box looks a bit DIY to me. Sounds like it is a new company so they will probably refine and improve their products presentation as time goes on. Great review, thanks!

The big round wheel looks really nice. The hub is nice too. Their wheels are real nice looking. I hate Alcantara, leather is much better. It lasts a lot longer and wears better.

I have no idea why I would want a display that attempts to duplicate what’s already on the in-game wheel. I have an SF1000 and never use the display.

Good option for me potentially, I want a nice high end round wheel with no real screen. This works well, small display

Are these by chance from the same guy that made SIMBOOT back in the day? I still have my pair of those that I purchased around ten years ago. A much more basic design, but worked well for me.
