Ok review but by the end of the movie you know what's happening, who's behind it and why. Also, the director wrote the screenplay which was based on the book. He made the story 5000 times better than the book in my opinion.

Ma’am with all due respect, you might want to watch the film again. I understand you point of not liking the characters of the film, I get it I don’t like seeing us in light either, however those characters were chosen for a very specific purpose. What didn't like about the netflix was they painted it as a documentary, which is a film/movie on an event or person based on fact. This Cleopatra is not a documentary and more like, " lets make up our own history to suite woke political agenda's.".

Native Egyptians were not Black, and the first peoples in history called "Africans" were not Black either (knowing that would require you to actually do some reading which I know is difficult for you.) So you see, you Blacks don't even have a name for yourselves or the continent you are from, you took the name "Africa" which originally referred to North Africa only. The Egyptian population were mixed, but Blacks were mostly depicted as slaves and enemies to Egypt since antiquity. Other than a few years when Egypt was actually ruled by Pharaohs from Kush, it's unlikely that there were Black people involved with politics or with the royal family. There is something called DNA, mummy DNA, read about it. The whole of North Africa was not Black, the Sahara desert made sure the Black population remained separate from them for a very long time. I understand wanting to find some history for yourself other than what defines you most as an Black American which is a descendant of slaves, but you have nothing else sadly. You should not make up for that by appropriating other peoples' history. The first season of your Jada Smith "Queens" was a failure as well, as it depicted a know historical woman who enslaved her own people and sold them as some kind of freedom fighter.
