Personally I prefer the white trim to the fabric. I think I will keep my white trim and forget about the light bar.

I’m a little shocked that doesn’t look like a cheap boat anybody know what happened? Was that a V Dr. and the prop broken cut the hull? Or did they run into some thing. Never underestimate a good rule or Atwater bilge pump. We had three of them on my brothers Ranger bass boat and we torpedo the wave in like early April and filled the boat full and I said just keep it moving about 20 and go straight. Don’t try to turn it off and he turned on all three bilge pumps and I was dealing with a bucket. We had to go 5 miles back to the truck we were frozen. We’re out scouting for Croppie fishing places for the crappython that came to Northern Michigan. It was a lot of fun for like five years they had it.

Back when I was a kid my oldest brother got a nice Larson boat with the speedometer and my dad had this old boat that he built the wood interior in and everything and we skied behind it all the time it had an old 35 horse Oliver on it in my dad‘s back there leaning the carburetor in the motor is just screaming and he says how fast are we going? My brother yells over 12 miles an hour any pull the bilge cover in the whole bill just for the water the boat it got in a crack in the front and ever since then we named it led bottom lol that’s all right. I had a lot of fun with lead bottom. me and my buddies took a boating safety course when we were 15 and got a certificate to legally drive a boat so my dad would let us go lunches with the panel station wagon down the street and we would go water skiing. I thought the whole neighborhood how to water ski we had this nice missile light water, skis they were wider and fiberglass so they didn’t load up on you and I just tell everybody just crouch in the water pull your knees back to your chest and stand up as I pull you forward you’ll be fine you could actually ski somebody young as slow as 12 miles an hour so even my sister-in-law‘s sisters, who were like the same age as me we all learned when we were about 12 years old it was scary at first but once you learned it it was so much fun. I love boats, but I hate to see people have problems and I highly recommend always checking to have all your safety gear and enough life jackets and if you have a fast boat where are the damn things those cheap lifejackets that nobody likes they are designed to roll you over and save your life if you’re knocked out. I have a flat bottom drag both of those over 100 miles an hour and nobody gets in the boat without a life jacket. Unless we’re just gonna go for a tool or something slow it’s too dangerous and easy to fly out of that high-speed It’s worth it to have a couple big bilge pumps. I’m wondering why this boat got such bad leaks on it😮 One time my dad wants to lead bottom without the plug. We come back to the dock and it was sitting at the bottom lol but we got the plug in and bailed it out.lol Still went boating for the weekend😂

Spring, Summer and Fall YES it's a great place. Winter....NOT SO MUCH.

Hi Mark, thanks for sharing! Very helpful. I noticed you have the same trailer as I do. For me, the back ratchet straps are always coming loose after trailering for a little bit - any tricks to keeping them from getting loose?

As an angler who is CONSTANTLY having to deal with wake and ski boats like this one insisting on not using the middle of the lake and wanting to fly by others fishing near the shoreline just to show off their "floating phallyus extension" on a regular basis, not going to lie, it wouldn't have broken my heart if it had sank to the bottom of the lake/river. By no means am I wishing ill on the safety or well-being of the people who are in the boat. I'm very glad they are safe. But wake surf/ski boats are simply nothing more than a menace on the water.

These new complex boats suckkkkkk. When on the water you want simple systems and fail safe redundancy.

suggestion, you mentioned not wanting gas in you generator when storing. This is not how you store a machine, especially with a metal tank. the proper wat to store you generator is to fill it up 100% full, add 260 stabilizer. then you run it for 10 minutes then shut off the fuel vale. The generator will use up al the gas in the line and carburetor leaving them empty. When storing with an empty tank, especially in southern states, you will get condensation in the gas tank. This will cause rust and water to collect on bottom. so now when you fill it up, you have rust water in your gas. I have a 10 year old Champion duel fuel I have been storing this way and it starts every time. Also, you should NOT be using motor oil in a 4 cylinder anything. They have very different additives, and motor oil doesn't hold up to temperatures that the generator produces.

Prop, drive shaft missing, rudder bent, cutlass damaged , center fin is gone , truck struggled to drag out from weight , that boat is like 3500lb empty and filled with unintentional ballast

It looks like you never made it to the ocean. That part of the sound I used to boat in and have forgotten about Falkner Island. I've been in N.H. harbor a couple of times, but I keep my boat in Clinton Ct and used to go over to LI a lot or Block Island. I missed those days when my kids were young, now they are all grown up, and you brought back some good memories of being back on the water. Thank you

The tires wernt spinning because its that heavy, f150s genuinely are that bad at pulling anything with weight. My brothers 2020 f150 struggled pulling a nissan sentra on a trailer. Transmissions arnt going to last running like that

Try to avoid it after a especially after a storm. We were out side the mouth of the CT river after a storm and hit a submerged telephone pole or tree in the sounnd. We broke a blade and bent a shaft of a New Hatteras Sports fisherman boat in 1966 and the shaft was stanless steel. We limpted all the way back to the Housatonic River were my brother had to schedul a long haul. We just brought the boat back from Mystic Marina for the winter. That was an expensive repair.

That explosions I heard and felt at my home in Cheshire CT and used to go to Essex from Cedar Island in Clinton with my boat. I hate the river because of so many no wake zones. I seamed to leave a good size wake because of the hull design. Enjoyed the ridealong. Trees die all the time and rivers will move over time.

Great video. I've done the lake on a jetski with my 10 year old son b4. It's easy to make good time with no boat traffic

The best sounding boats are PT boats from WW2 especially ones with Isotta Fraschini W18 engines.
