This video is largely good. However, there are some distinct errors. This is based on my years of rescuing corgis (both healthy and unhealthy, both abused and not) and having corgis of my own (currently, three). I do not breed. PLEASE NOTE: The differences between Cardigans and Pembrokes are VAST. They are DISTINCT breeds. Cardigans are more laid back, have rounded ears, are at least 30% larger, can suffer from double-merryl genes, are more prone to knee problems. Pembrokes are more prone to DM, hip and spinal problems. The reds are more compliant, red headed tris are less so and black headed tris are the least compliant. They are not great as first pets as they require lots of exercise and mental stimulation. They will herd children and need to be trained to not do so from the get-go. They do not develop yeast issues unless you bath them too frequently or if they have a food allergy. They are double (triple) coated and water generally beads off of them. They just need to be dried and left. Please do not bathe more often than once every two months. They will NOT smell. All the dogs we have rescued have only had that "doggy" smell if they have been bathed too often. Brushing them one to two hours a day is inadvisable. Brushing is enjoyable for 15 minutes at a time, at most. Hours of brushing is a sure fire way to create skin troubles, dandruff and micro abrasions ... and create a very unhappy friend. CORGIS SHOULD NOT BE RUN IN A SUSTAINED MANNER. AT ALL. NOT EVEN A SLOW RUN. Corgis are specifically bred for SHORT bursts of exercise. Longer distances or more sustained "jogging" could lead to sudden death - exercise induced collapse is a very real condition and corgis are genetically predisposed to them. I advise people that these are GERMAN SHEPHERDS in a small body. Corgis are 50/50 fond of affection. Consistently all of our dogs have fallen on one side of the scale here. Exactly half HATED being stroked and cuddled and held. Exactly half LOVED it. Corgis lifespan is commonly listed as 12-14 years. 15-19 years is an unrealistic expectation. Folks MUST remember that this is a NORMAL sized dog, simply with SHORT legs. This is not a small breed. There are some points in this video that are good: mental stimulation, food restrictions, not great listeners. The latter is true. They are "show me, make me" dogs. You can show them ... but then you have to MAKE them. Calorie restriction is important, yes. Corgis are prone to gaining weight. Easily. Their metabolisms are SLOW to allow for all that activity. They are energy-efficient. Feed accordingly. You MUST see a waistline. Pet steps are a good idea, too. These are the positive points, but the errors must be corrected for these positive points to shine.

I really want an corgi, and i am 14 years old, if we ever get a dog it will be next year, when i'm 15. I'm trying to confince my mom to get a corgi, but the part where they shed alot, she want a curly dog, who don't shed. She won't let it sit in the sofa cuz she don't want it to get all furry and shit but i will let them be in my bed and things. So that's one of the main problems. Do you have to brush them everyday? And bc they have small legs she thinks they are like dachshounds, that they have slot of bakproblems, do they have anything like that? Bc their short legs? thanks for this video, may show it, or tell my parents the information from this video hh

What was Donna making? You had the white sugar out but I guess, by what you were showing, that you only used the brown sugar. I like the sugar scrub it makes my hands feel soft during this cold harsh winter.

Twoie has nice taste. I believe the item with the KitchenAid is called a pouring shield. I use it more to keep liquids from splattering.
