The show is absolutely terrible and has been rightfully torn to shreds. But this man's performance has been recognised as magnificent right across the board. Even rage baiters are reluctant to criticise him. He and to a lesser extent Dafne Keen as Jecki were the only highlights of an abysmal show.

Lee jung-jae, You are the GOAT!

He floored me with his performance. I pride myself in English accents. Since I was a kid I have been obsessed with them. So I knew when he was speaking, that he didn’t even understand himself what he was saying. Yet his performance is the best in the show. I’m not a big Star Wars hater. I understand I’m biased as I like anything Star Wars even the new stuff. (Andor is my favorite thing that’s ever come out of Disney) so I knew I was going to like Acolyte more than most. I was under the impression that it took place during the old republic not the high republic. So that was a bit disappointing however I quickly appreciated the time period as there’s a lot of potential there. I’ve always been a fan of the legends stuff that have to do with force users outside of the Jedi AND Sith. As well as the fact that Jedi aren’t always the good guys. And the force is about balance. And a true believer of the force believes in BOTH sides of the force. Which is why Grey Jedi are my favorite in legends. That’s why Qui Gon Jinn was my favorite Jedi as he followed the true force not just the light side. He didn’t let Jedi traditions and biases corrupt his path in the force. Anyways sorry for that rant, long story short is there is a lot to enjoy about Acolyte. But I found myself not caring about Osha and Mae as much as it felt like the show wanted me to. But his character made up for that. He shows attachment and emotions. And that’s what I think a true Jedi should be. Shouldn’t cut yourself off from emotions in fear of the dark side.

Lee Jung -Jae Is excellent as Master Sol! He is now one of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time. Lee Jung-Jae you are the GOAT !

I find it hilarious when theres black or same sex relationships in the show, everyone makes noise, but when we have an asian actor, everyone begins singing praises. This doesnt mean his acting is bad, its great.

I absolutely love this show and my family loves it. I don’t have to explain to my family who all the characters are and the timelines. This is a fresh start. Don’t listen to those people that keep complaining about everything, Disney!!!! Screw them!!!!

I am so excited for this! I have seen his Korean films. I think he is a brilliant actor, and I am looking forward to seeing him in the Star Wars franchise. :)

He is the reason I'm checking out this show! Absolutely love Lee Jung-Jae. He's so lovely and so talented. Definitely one of those actors who really try to understand his character at a deep level so he can bring out all the emotions in a realistic way.

He has incredible voice, and also knows how to put different level of emotion in it.

That's the JJ's Deep Voice. Original voice with Sub. is good way to know of Actor's attitude.

I take it back. As bad as Headland is this is on Kennedy... because she has no creativity she thought it was a great idea using Headland to create your own identity of Star Wars away from her predecessor to claim as her own. KK destroyed multiple institutions and IPs..... and typically like all WOKE activists uses words like bigots, racists or not "true fans" if the world disagrees... professional victim card. This is Budlight times 100.... know your audience... but these people live in an echo chamber and more importantly the hubris of KK and the entitlement of KK talking down to the world like her own views only matters and she's the authority on what the audience should want to watch and like.... there's still a chance to save hollywood ... once she's fired it'll take about year to start over... the gaming industry will take longer.

I cannot wait to watch this. Ive supported every Star Wars show and movie that's ever came out. Im so happy that JJ is apart of it. Ive never seen squid games, but im familiar with his work on other dramas. This is so unique and cool. And shoutout for Star Wars always being the leader in diversity. Star Trek does this too. Man I love this franchise. Can't wait!!

This looks Great! I'm Excited!

I will not support Disney bullshit no longer. Great actors but I can see terrible dialogue, cgi, zero choreography, lack of imagination, we hate men actors. The diversity of this and throwing every women into this is pissing me off. Disney your vision has divided us as Star Wars fans to the point we do not care what you make. You lack imagination and don’t know anything about Star Wars. If this show turns out to be amazing it’ll be a step forward to what’s to come. But what we have got recently is not acceptable. I can’t wait to see George Lucas come back and show us his vision once again.

Him and Carrie-Ann Moss are the only reasons I’m watching this series. Along with Jonas Suotamo as a Wookiee Jedi.

Listen, I was already excited for the Acolyte when it was announced, somehow my excitement grows with each day. I think I may die when it comes out.
