A group of members of the Freediving Club of Montreal (Club d'apnée sportive de Montréal - www.casm.info) diving through the shipwreck of the Keystorm in the St. Lawrence River, near Brockville, Ontario. The shot was taken during a single dive by one of the freedivers (Jonathan Létourneau), and was only slightly edited by me to cut a few "glitches".

oh my goodness, the level of difficulty it takes to be so fluent in the rope like this, probably improvising, is the highest I have seen in a while.
I know it's very impressive. I am glad I got the spontaneous reaction to capture the performance on video! She would probably never imagine the number of people who would enjoy it later on the web, considering the scarce attendance in person.

Actually we did bring some tanks, too, for a night dive. But as we are mostly interested in freediving, the thrill is to play around the wreck just holding our breath. To "see more" we had put several buoys at different spots. We enjoyed entering the huge wide open holds. Apnea is fun... minimal equipment, total freedom... But requires proper training and safety rules.
The keystorm is from 30' to 115'. The part going in the wheelhouse is about 70'...no way I'm doing this without tanks!!!
