Wow! I have a 7800x3d and foundation block, but I'm getting around 80 degrees in Cinebench. I've tried all different thermal pastes and wonder if maybe it's from excessive mounting pressure. How tight would you say you mounted your blocks? Because the instructions say "very tight" and I'm already the guy who typically overtightens things 😂. Anyways, great channel man!

I am angry with the designer of the reservoir for using multicolored cables! Cmon man, the reservoir itself is beautiful, why did they have to do it like that.

In regard to the comment I just deleted, the MORA3 is made copper tubing and aluminum fins. The loop should be safe. I had mentioned that the aluminum radior would corrode when mixed with brass, copper, and zinc. However, after doing a thorough investigation on the build specs of the MORA3, I learned that only the radiator fins are made of aluminum. Great build.

And then, you can always add/upgrade parts bit by bit if you want to. Also...I'll always add a drain port if there's an unused port. Sure, it doesn't drain the entire loop, but you really want it to empty the reservoir.

Im still running my 1080 Ti FE stock, i've previously changed the thermal paste but reached my breaking point (not on performance, but no matter which fan curve is being used, the sound of the Jet Engine launching when it goes above 60% speed is a big nope). I reached the point now where I am to watercool the 1080 using the Kraken G12 solution paired with a Corsair H75 AIO in order to clock the old one up. (currently underclocked to avoid the fan to go balls to the walls) As Im on an old MB MSI Z270 Gaming Pro my bottleneck is the I7-7700k, and as such I will upgrade my MB & Processor before touching the GPU, so making it hold for another 1-2 years of gaming so I can either land on Nvidia's 5-series when it releases or go with a 4090. Great vid, lovely waterblock, you earned my sub!

The plastic part that makes it easier to apply thermal paste is removed after the paste. You closed it on the heatsink, my friend.. 2:07 :)
