Does the first solve the issue of the terrible sounding middle notes? Wouls be great! B flat is fun bc it's not much fingers but it sounds so dull compared to the clarion register

can someone help? I bought this clarinet off of Amazon and I can play all the way to A then it just gets really quiet.. idk if its me or my clarinet can someone help if its me please help tell me how to make it not be so quiet...

I'm a drummer since birth, but later in life, when I was helping my previous guitar player move, he gave me a flute, which he said he would throw away if I didn't take it. He originally bought it for his daughter. She tried playing it once or twice but had no interest. After he gave it to me, I went onto CZcams to find find out about this instrument and everything. I actually learned the basics and now feel comfortable playing simple stuff.
