Hi! Hmm.. I can’t say for a fact if it’s full collection photos but it’s A LOT of photos. About 2000+ photos according to the book. :)

"Piranesi" by Susanna Clarke is my favorite book if all times and it means the world to me. I never felt as seen in a charcter before, so I return to "Piranesi" whenever I need the words to express the truth within my soul, to feel a wonder like no other and to be comforted.

With reading the book, it made me wonder if the author actually liked her protangonist.
That’s an interesting insight. There were certainly moments when it felt like the protagonist has no way out of the situation anymore.

Kent Williams is one of the most magnificent artists working today. His work spans the entire range of illustrations for books and graphic novels to a very successful carrier as a fine artist and teacher. His shows at EVOKE Contemporary in Santa Fe are the best of any of the shows at that gallery. I managed to get a copy of Kwaiden at the show opening in Los Angeles with the original art and book release with Kent Williams and Beehive production staff present. What a spectacular book presentation!

One book at a time. Admittedly my reading increased during pandemic lockdown because I was just home the whole time. Then after that, I just made extra effort to continue the pace. :) I noticed I read faster now too; I guess just with anything else - practice helps. Good luck!
You didn't even scratch the surface, it's staccato and Not smooth and there is no hierarchy to the ideas you present. Do it again.

Good review, I had to read the first four chapters three times before I realised that it wasn't going to make a difference to me understanding what was going on. I'm not sure I fully understood the ending or the real motives of the people in the 22nd century. I loved the twist with Lowbeer near the end and the strange gun that turns you into a block that resembles chopped liver with your bones poking out of your dead body. I wish we could have seen the fate of China and Russia in the post Jackpot world.
Thanks! I know what you mean. I was trusting the novel / author that things will be revealed to me somehow, in a way, it did, but still not completely. They’ve adapted this into tv series in Amazon I think and I got into first few episodes and it helps a bit in visualizing the book. :)
