3 Kilometers | Rath Yatra : Deep Moods Unlocked | Short Film By Moonbeam
A few young devotees volunteer to assist a seasoned preacher in the pre-Ratha Yatra clean up (Gundicha Marjanam) of his home altar. It is eventually ‘they’ who end up being assisted in cleaning up their perception of the Ratha Yatra, as observed by Gaudiya Vaishnavas.
Although the distance between Shri Mandir and Gundicha Mandir is just 3 kilometers, it is a journey of lifetimes. In other words, it will take lifetimes to realize the infinite waves of transcendental moods experienced by the Lord and His dearmost devotees, headed by Shrimati Radharani. Praying to realize a speck of these moods is the primary observance of Ratha Yatra for followers of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Hare Krsna! Upon watching this video, one will see that the main point is that for Gaudiya Vaishnavas, Ratha Yatra is not limited to only pulling the rope. Also, it doesn’t mean that we should not pull the rope. Just like Nirjala Ekadasi is not just about being Nirjala, there is more to it. We need to dive deeper into the essence of what Ratha Yatra means for us, what Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu came to give. 🙏 That too, is applicable for serious sadhakas in Gaudiya Vaishnavism. This has been clearly mentioned in the video. Also, in no way does this video try to connote or prove that the Gaudiya viewpoint is the best. Every sect has their understanding of Ratha Yatra and we very much respect that. This video is made for the followers of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, especially Srila Prabhupada, by His followers. Hare Krsna! Your point is well taken. and if one sees the video carefully, they will realise that we are nowhere condemning any practices like pulling the rope. We are saying that for Gaudiya Vaisnavas, ratha yatra is not limited to pulling the rope. They need to dive deeper into the essence of what it means for us. 🙏 That too, is applicable only for serious sadhakas in Gaudiya. This has been clearly mentioned in the video. You false ISKON people are playing with our emotion of hindu people in name of krishna and Prabhupada. One person perspective can not be the truth. My religion give me power to question and you are delimiting my curiosity. You want to belive in you Vaishnavi method. Thats yours perspective. For me Jaga and khana is like my sakha a friend whome is can scold, fight and ask question. They are not some path of spiritual gain for me or a method to reach a loka. I love that my sakha has come to vist me in his rath. My aim is not to get to any loka like you but to see my sakha in rath and attain that happiness. You people have a lust of getting you feet in that loka but in my perspective my aim is to feel the essence of my kalia.

Actually this conception that you are speaking about is the highest attainment for us as well! You are indeed very fortunate to have this mood naturally, which we aspire to attain through our practices. It is called raganuga bhakti. Actually our teachings may have been misrepresented by some, but if represented purely, they are the same as the pure teachings of the Vedas.
