Aug05 2012 Whilst fishing in Norfolk, England, i managed to get this footage of a thunderstorm developing before the heavens opened. Sped up to eight times the speed you can see the swirling air currents present in the cloud.

Wasps nest

Wasps coming in and out of their nest just above the kitchen window. Unbelievable how busy they are. They keep eating their way through the plasterboard ceiling into my house. i've covered it up twice but they keep braking through. guess i'm gonna have to kill the nest. You can actully hear them chewing away from inside the house.

Ello Dan' i only just realised you sent me a message. I missed out on woolacombe, Heard you were there, hope you had some good flying. I done two 20 mile cross country flights last week from the tow field to my house. It was awesome. I'm off to spain in a couple of weeks for two weeks. Doing an areotow course then a week off the mountains with tony and rona. you should come if you can make it. i'm going on the 26th sept.

No problem, good to hear from you. I've done bugger all flying since I saw you though I'm trying to get the money together to go and do my tow EP with Tony & Rona in Spain in October. We'll see ... I'm very jealous :-)
@Sandman755 Ello Dan, na this was just a few small flights, trying different camera angles, but done some thermalling last year, had one flight in norfolk nearly an hour, had trouble gettin down for a bit, then when i did, just hopped on the next thermal and went up again. it was awesome. went to spain last october too for a week with tony and rona, that was brilliant., one long flight a day basically, first flight was 1.5 hours, loved it. You been flyin much then? sorry for late reply mate.

Nice one mate! Was that all one flight or is the video a composite? If there were no thermals then that was a very long flight. Have you done any thermalling yet?

Ello Dan. Na haven't had any serious thermalling yet but got on some gentle stuff for about 8 minutes, feels great. This video is of three different flights patched together. just felt like getting creative and putting something together to go with this piece of music. Been upto about 1800 ft i think on the club winch, towing into a nice steady breeze. Could just see the sea about 20 miles away. amazing. you got yourself a glider yet?
Looking good! Are you getting some serious thermalling there or is that a bunch of shorter flights patched together? Either way I am impressed and jealous :-)
Cheers Andy, good meeting you too, Got myself a Target Hang glider yesterday and a harness so i'm fully equipped now apart from a variometer. Flew my glider as soon as i got back from Manchester where i bought it. Well chuffed. done another nice vid too which should be on youtube tonight. Hopefully see you again.
