My new psu the 850 one came with one im guessing i can use it since my psu is atx3.0 and pcie5.

Normally, transfer rate notation is in 'bits' and storage notation is in 'Bytes'(Some OSs use a binary scale for storage notation, especially older ones. Which would confuse a lot of younger people today unless it's given in 'Binary Bytes'.). But it's also very common to convert transfer rates to the amount of data transferred storage wise as an estimate of the time it would take to transfer a specific amount of data. This is where it got a bit confusing since he misspoke a few times mixing those two up. He was trying to compare interface transfer rates of storage devices relative to the speed of the network transfer rate while also mentioning the amount of data he was transferring. Him comparing 'SATA 3.x' rate of '6.0 Gigabits/second' to the '10 Gigabits/second' network rate, he was correct in saying that it's a bit of a bottleneck. And as such, to utilize the full potential of the network, one needs to use storage devices that are much faster than that of 'SATA 3.x' interface. -----

Just come across your video as I have just bought a new PSU for my new computer build (which includes an ASUS ROG Strix RTX4090 OC) & the new PSU is a Corsair HX1500i & it comes with a lead very similar to the one you show in this video except that it DOES have the 4 data pin section BUT ONLY HAS TWO PINS IN IT !!!

The only time this GPU would be a consideration for gaming would be for a small form factor (SFF) desktop case setup. There are so few low profile/half height GPU's available and the a2000 performs great in the aforementioned scenario.

@@nyet_maker7948 I bought this product a few years ago (2018) along with a 6 pack of Energizer batteries. The remote absolutely ran through that six pack. I believe one battery lasted 2 weeks at most even without using the remote. I promptly uninstalled the product at just put in a box with my other pc hardware. I only just opened the box today remembered that I even bought it.

I'm also thinking one could use Process Lasso (or look it up online to see whether it needs the 3d Cache or not). If it does, lasso it to the cache processors. If not, the speed processors. And lock Windows threads to the speed processors since they shouldn't (I think!) need the cache.

@@joeschmo2693can you elaborate when you say boot is slow? Does yours get stuck in a black screen after BIOS post but doesn’t load windows? Eventually it will load windows?
@@HotNHorny No, no problems like that. Just slow to start up. It's a known issue. It's resetting the RAM every time. My understanding is that you can set it to keep current settings, but there is a possibility of instability. I have no problems whatsoever once it's up, so I've just left it as is.

Yah unfortunately, to get the most out of the RTX 4090 you need a newer gen CPU .. there are less cpu bound games where you won’t see any big diffrences but for the newest games you need faster CPUs.. i have some videos to show it but didn’t publish them yet click a Follow to get updates 👍

Hi, it depends on what kind of gaming you do, if you aim to game at high rez 4K, it should be ok, but for lower resolutions you would need a faster CPU for getting the best out of the GPU, subscribe to my channel for more videos on this topic :)

You cannot use Corsair 12 pin(12 pin) series 30 for 16 Pin(12 Pin) for 3090 Ti and 40 Series they are two different connections.
Yes that only works for all the 30 series FE. They have one for the 40 series which is out of stock. I have a 3090ti FE and it has the sixteen pin connector on the GPU. The adapter cable that comes with the FE is only 12 pins.
This new cable has been a real mess. I like the new spec but I wish they would have made the pins thicker since there have been durability issues with this connector. Also it’s been terrible getting ready for the 40 series with the fact that ATX 3.0 PSUs won’t be out till December

I believe the aux 4 pin connector is for the ATX 3.0 is for power demand signaling between the PSU and GPU for power supplies that have "marginal" capacity to meet the system requirements and is used to throttle the GPU down so it consumes less power. If you have a PSU with ample power capacity like 1200-1600 watts it's not required. If it was required, no one could install an RTX4080 of 4090 in their systems unless they replace the PSU along with the GPU which is exasperated by the fact only a few companies produce power supplies that have the ATX 3.0 features.
That's why Corsair did this cable, as a interim solution and to avoid using the cable adapters that the GPUs will come with. Unfortunately the 600W 12+ pin cable in not currently available yet, they only have a 12 pin cable compatible with 30 series. For a 4090 GPU and a latest gen CPU you need a beefy PSU unfortunately, like 1000 - 1200 W.

I have one very inportant question. Block seems to be symetrical from the bottom side. But in the pictures it is always mounted with velocity2 logo - closer to memory. Can in be mounted otherwize with part with logo towards the IO shield? I'm asking because in one direction in and out holes alre closer to IO... and i MUST have them closer to RAM. Can in be mounter both ways. (I'm not thinking of mounting it 90degrees only logo close to ram and 180deg. close to IOshield)? Thank you.

its a square mount, it can be orientated as desire.... however it would look very ackward if mounted with writings upside down🤣. i only see the rgb line/writing mounted parallel or perpendicular to memory
What about the mixed metals assembly. I have several monoblocks from EK and the mixed metal design does do something to the coolant(getting annoying blue crystals, at some point). While the older cpu blocks from EK does not affect the coolant in the same way or as fast, as my monoblocks ? I do like the design, thou... -Anyone else experienced coolant decay in EKs mixed metal blocks ?
It looks like the water only gets in contact with the copper for this one, but in the case with mixed metals please use a silver coil and treated coolant, mayhems.store/may_b2c/mayhems-x1-v2-eco-series-clear-premixed-coolant-1-litre.html
