SOME LIKE IT HOT Inspired COCKTAIL (How to make a FLAMING Cocktail) | Classic Cinema Cocktail Club
Welcome to the CLASSIC CINEMA COCKTAIL CLUB!
It's exactly as it sounds! In this series, I will create a cocktail inspired by the classic films that I love and for today's video, we will be looking at Some Like It Hot from 1959 starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemon and Joe E. Brown.
For the cocktail, I was inspired by heat, the characters names and what they drink and the setting of the film -
"Where's That Bourbon?"
4-6 Mint Leaves
1-3 Jalapeno Wheels
2 oz Bourbon
.75 oz Turbinado Simple Syrup
.75 oz Lime Juice
.5 oz Grand Marnier
Add all ingredients to the shaker WITH Ice shake for 15-30 seconds. Pour into glass with ice top with Angostura bitters and garnish with fresh mint. Optional Tiki flare: Take 1/2 of a used lime turned inside out + add a sugar cube + fill with Lemon Extract light with a long match
Turbinado Simple Syrup
1/2 cup Turbinado Sugar
1/2 cup water
Combine into a saucepan
Slowly bring to a boil while occasionally stirring. Once boiling reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 5 mins. Remove from heat and let it sit as long as you can.
Strain into a jar and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

I love how none of the pictures matched the original angle
First one was just to the right but lounge chairs in the way. Second one was literally right where the diving board was, 3rd one in the spot just the angle was not as stepped back (you can see the same palm), and last one literally the exact spot so maybe you just need to watch it again 😌😉
