I knew that suspension and expulsion in schools can do more harm than good especially when discrimination is involved. I know that some minority groups like African Americans, Hispanic and latino Americans, muslims and other religious people, Asian Americans, LGBTQ people, immigrants and people with disabilities aren't really misbehaving or breaking any rules at school but minding their own business. It looks like that some schools zero tolerance policy and discipline policies need fixing.

This is required viewing for Colorado state employees and I think it’s one of the best DEI videos I have ever seen. It really nails the issues in the stark terms of reality. I love one of the last lines, “our biggest health risk may actually be inequality”, though it should really say inequity.
