I listen to Talksport most days and love Simon. Sometimes he just argues for the sake of it on Talksport but here he is so calm, measured, unflustered, intelligent and eloquent. Even when Russel is getting angry and aggressive it doesn't phase him. So interesting to listen to.

How long has Russell Brand been doing a football podcast ? I've seen Brand on all types of news shows talking/debating/arguing about all types of issues & current events, and in a serious manner. Its good to have him doing a Podcast/YT video talking about the game & big stories from a fan's view in a fun/funny context by just being himself. He's naturally a funny guy so a show where he just talks & shares his thoughts is a perfect platform. Who else could transition from Vanilla Ice to Ange Postecoglou with such ease??? 😂😂😂

Glad to have you back as always chaps. One thing that I think would be cool is if you had some questions or topics about general football stuff from over the years or just from whenever. The thing I get a bit bored of on TalkSPORT is how they always talk about this week's stories and nothing else. It would be interesting to start random conversations based on a list of questions, maybe listener submitted ones. With Gareth's fairly in-depth knowledge of football and Russell's interesting/funny perspectives on things I think it would be great.

The whole Sidemen v YT All Stars is, and always has been, a bit of fun which raises a huge amount for charity. Although it's not directly linked with professional football, I do have a feeling that elements of social media will permeate the professional game especially if the money and marketing potential is right. I've a feeling it won't be long before fans will be able to vote for subs on the pitch in - will the role of the manager as we know it change in the future? I'm sure it will only take one team to do it to get the ball rolling... Also, that match was really enjoyable as were the last ones. Fosh scored an absolute whalloper!
