My mom, who was 84 years old, died in her sleep this last Wednesday. I thought about this song ,this version ,and -Shared it- on my FB , telling about my moms death, and this sweet song even now still tugs at my heart, when I first heard it a few years ago.

My theory now is she's dingy (that claims to be smart) ran out of bullets. She needed to go to the hospital for her arm. She couldn't physically move them out of the vehicle so she had no choice but to take them with her. Is my theory now that she is exactly who everyone else thought & said all along.

The way she says "Let them die but don't let them suffer." And then she describes how they suffered - how they were crying on the way to the hospital. She smiles when she describes her daughter's mouth full of blood. She shot them and took pleasure in their suffering.

The tears behind when she is talking about her dad are real. But not for caring about him so much, there must be some blasts from the past regarding her father. I looked at every interview of her, that is the only time she showed a bit of a human emotion.

She gets the most irritated by the idea that people think that she would make such a bad story about killing her kids. That is what hurts her most.
