I'd probably call it 'The Journal AU' myself (I'm lame with names honestly XD) but ah man. Feeling really terrible for Loop in this one. SPOILER WARNINGS FOR ALL ACTS IN DISCUSSION TALK BELOW . . . . . Like, how many loops did it take the exhausted Loop to actually reach out to the party, especially seeing their 'role' of Siffrin had been 'so easily replaced'? (probably not too many since they're kind and would want to help but unlike canon, the party don't remember so what would even be the point?) Does Loop go with them into the House? (If so, lots of area trauma for Loop but hey, faster discovery and the party might get residual feelings of trust/care towards them? But if not then progression is going to be REALLY slow and Loop is more alone and isolated than ever. ...I suppose they do have the Call Loop craft to teach them but like, the party can't SEE Loop not having a great time so... </3) And finally, the main question I always have with these kinds of 'minor tweak' AUs: What's the purpose/direction you'd like to take this? Like, nothing wrong with just exploring an idea (I LOVE doing that) but like, *does* Loop ever get out or is this a tragedy in the making? What is the 'purpose' of the Wish Craft 'granting Loop's wish' in this way? (For an example of what I mean, canon can be argued as: Loop didn't want to be/see themself as Siffrin anymore but still wanted their family to beat the King and save Vaugarde, which meshed badly with the wish of 'give me help' as the Universe was like 'wait, you want help for me/Siffrin but you also don't want to be Siffrin? And we've still gotta do all the pre-existing wishes? ...got it! Will make another Siffrin without all the pain that made you not Siffrin so you two can work together and help each other out~') Just, what direction would be most interesting/fitting of the characters involved to take this all, do you think? =D ...Mostly I'm seeing eons more pain and not a lot of hope for a good ending given Loop is already at the end of their rope at canon start and this AU's Loop doesn't get the 'blessing' of being able to veg out and recover by leaving all the foot/brain work to Sif (aka most likely real reason they do bugger all for Acts 1 and 2: still processing/taking advantage of not 'being on stage'), but well. Could argue they just fully disconnect until the party all on their own develop the whole 'Journal thing and start making some headway, purely by virtue of 'Odile was writing things in the Journal and starts each early loop very confused why she has a book with future events written in it'. ...Though er, Loop might've stepped in early on ONCE after getting extremely irritated with Siffrin dying repeatedly to the Death Corridor, and Odile wrote that down, cue party taking the future info journal VERY seriously. That's just my first thoughts though so um. Yeah! No clue past the early stuff and it's your AU so hope this little bit of 'theory crafting' is helpful to you and curious as to your thoughts and seeing where you may take it~ =3

Before I got the Bonnie interaction I was reassuring myself that I had no reason to feel on edge while playing, that the game wasn't a horror game, that there weren't any jumpscares or things to scare you in it. I then talked to Bonnie and got this and I jumped so hard.

Loop is basically being tortured now by being alone, again, in a different way, in spite of their wish. Needless to say... Awesome
