After my first super blobby attempts using acrylic with a stamp, I was worried I wouldn't be able to use it at all. I'm excited now that I've seen your tutorial! I have so many pretty metallic paints and I can't wait to try them now that I know how to properly put them on the stamp. Thank you for the tutorial!!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. Eileen did a tutorial on a fold out recently and for the life of me I can't find it. I've looked 4 hours. Guess its not meant to be. I really like your tutorial. I'm 6 years later on your tutorial. Next mission is to find your finished book. Anyone, can add pages with a rubberband. Its a year later, I need to advance. I'm retired. No excuse, I need to keep the mind sharp.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! You just saved me soooo much money. I love so many of the Tim Holtz distress ink colors....but it adds up quickly. I can easily mix these colors with fluid acrylic paint that I have. Less clutter in my room now as well. WOO HOO!!

I use polycrylic semi gloss or gloss varnish, brush on, the brush is a nail tech brush from china, can be found on ebay and Amazon
Are you applying a clear coat to all of them at the end? These appear to have a high sheen. Also, what type of brushes and paint are you using here? Please and thank you. 😊

@@DebbieB259 Thank you for the quick response! Last question / did you paint the rocks a base white or they came that color.
I use the white beach pebbles when possible but I do apply a basecoat to all my rocks, i use a mixture of white gesso, white acrylic paint and multi purpose sealer, this is my basecoating mixture for all the surfaces I paint on... Let the basecoat cure at least 24 hours, rub lightly with a piece of crumpled brown paper to smooth the surface... Also, i only basecoat the area or surface i will be painting the acrylic art on, so usually just the top surface unless painting a scene all around

I had been wondering what was the best way to load the paint onto the stamp, (brayer, sponge brush, paint brush or pressing the stamp directly into the paint), & now I know the best way =dabbing the paint directly on the stamp. Thank you for this video 🎨!

Hello from southern Tennessee! Nice video. TY. We had a bunch of eggs volunteer in our garden this year so was looking for ways to use. I've not worked much w acrylic. Did you have to prime the eggs? That burnt sirens shows up beautifully!
I use a mixture of white gesso, white acrylic paint and a multi purpose sealer, equal parts mixed well, i use this mixture for all my basecoating, let cure a couple of days then painted with Folkart acrylics as usual, after a couple days of dry/cure time, i then varnish with polycrylic varnish, gloss, semi gloss, satin or matte, your choice, i tend to use more gloss or semi gloss varnish because my pieces are usually handled ❤️

I am an Acting Teacher and am moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico in a few weeks to reopen my Acting Studio so we can have "Summer Acting Camp" and I want the younger "Actors" to have a Camp T-shirt with their NAME "Stamped" on it... This could be such good memories...
@@judichristopher4604 yes, i used to stamp on tee shirts using black acrylic paint and then paint in the design using acrylics, allow to dry and heat set, paint will be permanent...

I am in the process of moving back to Albuquerque, New Mexico to reopen my Acting Studio (just in time for "Summer Acting Camp" (for film and theatre)... and wanted to give out Camp T-shirts... and thought it would be so much fun if we could design the T-shirts ourselves... I used to design clothing, and even designed for Jon Bon Jovi back in the 90s... my (little) company was called "Desperado Original Art" now I have J. Christopher Couture... (same name as my ACTING STUDIO)... I'm 67 and decided to be more Eccentric (LOL)... Makes for a great Acting Director... BAHAHAHAH. YOU have made my day, knowing I can let the kids paint/Stamp on their Custom made design... that is a good thing, because I have already bought the stamps... LOL Thank you so much for all your help.
I'm just starting with junk journals. But I don't like how jammed most of them are. This is a happy medium: cute additions that don't get impede writing or my personal additions. Lovely!!
