Shoe Goo is great. It dries really solid and hard-wearing. You have to put it on in layers and build it up as each layer dries. I've saved a pair of shoes I love that had really worn heels and have been using them for two years since. I've just retreated the heels and hope to get another two years. Highly recommend.

She's totally lying I've used that stuff countless times on my boots and my soles when they come apart this stuff lasts about a week and then falls apart over and over again!!!!

To my knowledge there's no evidence that either version is attractive to mosquitoes (company was sued over this issue and is paying $3.6 million to settle case). Mosquito Dunks on the other hand have very good evidence of efficacy and I highly recommend.

On this "test setup" you're not testing the strenght of the glue at all, mostly just the material strenght haha Real test would be if you flipped the piece upside down. Clever marketing tho.

No goggles? No rubber gloves?

I've been using this for a year now. It's not what I thought it would be. It's all gleamy-gleamy for a day or so then it shows scuffs easily. Within a week, it looks horrible. I wear socks and soft slippers in the house. We had two dogs with us for a few days. I had just used Quick Shine the day before. The dogs scratched the shine within the first day.
