@@riko6377 thank you very much I appreciate it 😁I used, vinyl wrap, knifeless tape and some stickers (all from aliexpress, for testing purposes) the round shape of the helmet can be challenging sometimes but keep trying :-)

How many kilometers do you get off the tank?
Hello! Approximately 200km - 124 miles. Fuel consumption was ~5l/100km - 47 mpg (my weighth: 115 kg - 253 lbs)

There is a stock muffler. But no cat since the motorcycle was manufactured in 1988 :-) Thank you for watching 😊

Hi , i have the same little bike, a Honda VLX 600 from 1999 with 45000 km on it. I love it. Mine is a red one and my plan is, to do an roadtrip with it. I am from Germany , want to goto Greece with the Honda.

what windscreen are you using?
It is a windscreen I found on AliExpress. If I remember correctly the search terms were : sportster 883 windscreen. Just make sure the windscreen supports match your forks width😊
Motorcyclin' out in the countryside is just so invigorating and fulla surprises. I would love to go touring to every state, in every country, in every province that makes up the continents of both North and South America by bike if necessary. Of course if I want to get to the native motherland of Africa, I'll have to go by plane.

Foarte frumos din păcate sadovul meu batrlna sta ln garaz ,,honda Sadoveanu 125,,finca am de făcut lucrări la casa cu stima și respect Puiu ATV Tazlău localitatea Neamț
It's not so much about keeping it at low revs. It's more about not lugging the engine. Although I think most modern bikes actually don't need the run in period. They are run in factory and the precision of manufacturing is much better nowadays. But always good to follow recommendations. :) Nice bike!

Thank you very much for your comment, it means a lot. I found it on Aliexpress by searching "vt 600 watch". There are some other options which you can mount on the handlebars.Unfortunately, it looks like the one on the video is discontinued.

@@shebysobreruedas Unfortunately, the motorcycle remained completely stopped for years. I started my motorcycle driver's license with it, and I think that going from standing still to riding regularly was a major blow to the bike. Rust had set in. Several parts began to present problems as time went along: the carburetor was clogged, I had to have wheel bearings changed, the radiator started to leak. Finally, the vehicle started to generate too many expenses and I had to stop driving it. I've since bought myself a Yamaha MT-09. I haven't forgotten the wonderful times I had with the Shadow. That wonderful sound of an old japanese V-Twin :-)

@@shebysobreruedas to be honest i did not try since May 2023. I can't tell you if the engine runs. Only thing I know is that last time I rode my Shadow, she did not want to turn off. Even when took the key off the ignition, the engine/or starter was trying to fire the bike on. It was a little bit scary
