Back in 2014 when I was in HS, my choir class got to go to NYC and see some Broadway shows. This beautiful production was my first introduction to “real” Broadway, and still has such an effect on me all these years later. This song in particular is so beautiful - having the context of actually growing up, over 10 years, and becoming an adult makes it truly special.
