Is that city or highway or combined? my ecoboost gets around 340 to 360 city and 460 to 500 on the highway, and combined you can take a guess.

Not really. I'd let a car run for 15 seconds before setting off to give the oil a chance to run through the engine. THE ENGINE TEMP YOU SEE ON THE DASH ONLY SIGNIFIES WATER TEMP, NOT OIL TEMP. Waiting for the oil to warm up you're idling for a full 20 minutes before moving. IT IS OKAY TO RUN COLD. Yes it runs a bit richer when it's cold still, but you'll use more gas idling in your parking space/driveway before driving off than using a cold engine. This wont cause harm to the engine if you stay below reasonable RPM. If you ever wanna give it the full beans for a bit WAIT FOR THE OIL, NOT THE WATER. THE WATER WILL ALWAYS BE WARM WAY BEFORE THE OIL. Running at high RPM with cold oil WILL damage your engine. Get in about 20 miles or 30 kilometers AT THE VERY LEAST before giving it a boot of power. I always see people driving patiently until the water temp has risen ands then driving sporty. It will do damage, i always tell them. wait for the oil. Seriously. Im not trying to be a dick or trying to teach anyone a lesson, but unless you drive a supercar you can drive away after 15 seconds and only give it the beans after 20 miles of driving. Happy rides!
