Red Arrows fly to Quebec for an international airshow, flying over the hazardous Arctic Circle with only 2 hours of fuel. 7 stops via Scotland, Iceland, Greenland, and Canada, over ice sheets and tundra with nowhere else to go. Each Hawk carries its own elite flight engineer to service the jet. More interesting than The Watchmen.

Daredevil miltary pilots, thoroughly decent chaps. The Red Arrows take the toughest flying exam in existence, and fly back to their families for a quick rest before the display season starts. Their families spell out the flipside to the 'glamorous' job; the pilots talk about countering G-forces.

As a Brit im VERY PROUD OF OUR RED ARROWS and what they do for my country.
Fair play to the Americans, they have massive mutual respect to their allied competitors. Theyre good men!

The Blue Angels are mint. Its just they use combat aircraft. The Reds put Experienced combat pilots in Light weight trainers. :D
I'm surprised the American display teams don't get a medal for walkig i formation. The us forces get medals for just about everything else
Funny to think only 14 years later all of these people are now working class.
Doubt it' most would be STCs at major airlines.

I was 4 years old when I first saw the Red Arrows, in the Knat trainers and they brought me to tears with pride, I'm now 50 and every time I see them live, I still have the same reaction. THE very best of the best
ive always said theres only 1 team that can a fight against snowbirds and red arrows are dam good.
You cannot beat the laid back professionalism of the red arrows. Remember they have come from the front line on fast jets. I worked with pilots for 7 years on the harrier OCU and I know how they think. A cracker gang of people.

Red Arrows, Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, Frecce Tricolori.....it doesn't matter, everyone of these pilots is skilled in what they do. We all have our favourites....I like and respect them all.

Red Arrows were Top Acrobats in the sky but unfortunately today they can't make a heart they can't do loop the loop they can't do shooting stars and many other different acrobatics in the sky maybe it uses too much petrol today or otherwise it is not as safe as it use to be and one needs a string tummy for the very fast ups and downs and rolling around and going upside down Well Done Red Arrows thank you so much for the beautiful photography in this beautiful video and thank you so much for sharing the beautiful video 👍👍😀😀🌹🌹♥️♥️👍👍✈️🛫🛬🛬🛫✈️👍👍♥️♥️
Jet fuel is paraffin, not petrol, and the smoke is unburnt diesel fuel put into the hot exhaust. The 'arrow through the heart' formation is standard for the Red Arrows, as well as the Italian team, the Frecce Tricolori ('three-coloured arrows').
