I mean. AGILE is not for every type of product/industry. It is best suited for software development houses that focus on iterative MVP solutions. The mistake I've seen a lot of organizations make, is going to Las Vegas for some convention, getting all caught up on buzzwords and Agile evangelist talk. They then buy something like JIRA and expect it to do what they need OUT OF THE BOX. Which typically is not the case, and find they need to buy 3rd party add-ons etc. which costs even more money/licensing. On top of that, they find out the hard way that in order to effectively run Agile, they need to change their organizational structure from a likely more traditional pyramid one, to a flatter horizontal one, removing SILOS and business firewalls that can get in the way of effective resource management across the departments which is required for Agile. *Some industries can't necessarily do that due to unchangeable industry regulations. Change is always met with some resistance. However, in order for a company that isn't in an industry nor having an organizational structure to facilitate Agile, a lot of roads may need to be removed and new ones put in place to allow the Agile release train to run with enough effectiveness. The amount of time/money to make such a change, a long with industry (unchangeable) regulations can ultimately cause a very costly mis-match with a company thinking it can adopt an Agile work process. Of course Agile Evangalists will always say any company can run with Agile, but that's simply not the truth. Do your business and employees a favor and do a lot of up-front due diligence and assessment before embarking on what could be a massive costly/timely conversion of your company's operations. Understand what would be necessary to accommodate Agile and make sure the benefits outweigh the costs, and that your business can withstand such a potentially massive change.

The explanation of the Scrum framework's emphasis on iterative development, frequent delivery, and continuous adaptation. The roles, ceremonies, and artifacts it covers are the core components that enable Scrum's effectiveness. The concept of self-organizing teams aligning with modern business needs for flexibility and collaboration is particularly insightful.

Great video that for once explained quite succinctly the context of what SCRUM is about and how it comes together. What was not evident however was that the processes appeared to be focussed on "Hours remaining" on your work items in each sprint but not accunting for actual work done. By ignoring the work done and comparing to original estimates you are able to determine that not only when your sprint will finish but also that your delivery will be within budget. Or have I missed a critical element of the SCRUM process?
