Arrow lights flashing in Audi A3 2001 8L instrument cluster. Local shop claims that the cluster's CPU is faulty and needs to be replaced (soldering and dumping/flashing firmware). This is a old video but I am having the same problem. Magneti Marelli cluster have crap soler joints. try to re solder the contacts on the back side. You need to dismount everything and that is not easy. If you just having starting problem due to immo not working then the easiest system is to code the ecu and remove that system. :)

Hi my front suspension has the exact noise in cold weather and I suspected it’s due to frozen/leaked hydraulic fluids in the shocks or any bushing. It looks like this was your car a few years ago - did you end up finding what was the problem? Thanks!

ToffiTube not really. As it got warmer (above -5 degree C the noise just went away. But I’m sure it will come back again when it gets colder.

Hi, the car in video is Mitsubishi Lancer 2006 2.0i Sport. I tried changing shock absorbers, (KYB), there was no change. Then changed the upper strut mounts, it made it a bit better at least. Then I bought an Audi, the problem was 100% solved :D

Microswitches in the door latch mechanism are always a pain. If your cabin lights turn on and of too.
And the light buzzer is intermittent too
My problem is only the temp gage . Rest of them seems to be working just fine. It is possible to have the same problem with mine ? changing the motorola chip will resolve the situation i have ?

Hi I have the same problem in my AUdi A3 (2003). Last year the lights and the arrows in the instrument cluster were constantly blinking when I putted the key. One day I try to turn on the car and the key doesn't seems to be recognized. I replaced the chip (actually a friend of mine did that) and the car worked well until now. Last month the problem seems appear once again. The lights are still blinking when i put the key and suddenly lights turn off (as also the radio). I don't understand whats happening. Can be an electrical problem or is really the cluster
