TIER LIST! Inter Miami's 2024 Roster 📊📈
great show guys, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I felt it. 2-1 Miami. Absolutely loved this game!
Perfect.
Good luck Inter after Leo goes to Copa América, 'cause Kryvtsov is gonna be a starter and that means that they'll be LITERALLY playing with ten men.
Given that Freire’s injury is season-ending, do you know whether it would enable Inter Miami to replace him similar to how they were able to bring in Redondo after Farias was injured?
It should, but they can't bring in a new player until the summer window opens.
freire - really sad news could we play negri in his place instead of kryvstov?
Awful news on Freire. Negri doesn't really profile as a CB. We're like to see a lot of Kryvtsov, with hopefully a bit of Ian Fray until the next window.
Hmm I kind of remember someone promoting Campanas importance in this game lol
The end game Campana goal after all!!
I feel that if Alba and Suarez had been on the pitch at the same time there would have been a goal.
You’re right! Alba created a good chance once he came on, if only Suarez was there to finish it.
I just finished watching the game and you can clearly see, as we have seen in the past, that without Messi, Inter Miami it's a run-of-the-mill team like all the others in MLS. They lack surprise, they lack order, they lack attack volume, everything. And, of course, their rivals play differently when Messi it's not on the pitch. They are going to need a lot of luck once Messi retires.
This team definitely has the quality to beat teams in the MLS without Messi. We just need to get over our dependence on him and learn how best to play without him.
Really enjoyed your podcast. Deep and knowledgeable analysis.
Thanks for watching. Join us live today for our pre-game show against DC United!
Thanks for another great episode. Really enjoy the systematic analysis. It’s strange to me how Tata got the tactics so fundamentally wrong in the first half two games in a row.
Thanks for tuning in! At least Tata made the necessary changes, but still needs to do better.
I said it a couple of videos ago... GET RID OF KRYVTSOV ASAP! He is awful! You have no quality subs for Avilés or Freire! And also, put Callender on the same bag! Gressel and Cremaschi should be solid subs once Gómez and Redondo come back. Fixing that should make Inter's games easier.
You were right about the 3-2!!
Scotty’s predictions are always on point!
Could always just make an trade in MLS instead of selling campana and having Borgelin the backup striker. Simple throw Robinson,cash/Pick for a Defender it doesnt always have to be someone out side of NA. Defence wont matter until they get a goalie who can speak spanish cuz of the back line is all spanish speaking
I think when we say "selling" a player it means both trade or sell. But yes, there's definitely a chance, that a few players get traded as opposed to sold.
Messi rarely dominates games since he turned 30. Instead he now conserves energy by walking around alot. At top level in Europe he was often very quiet, hardly touched the ball, looked quite poor, then wham bam, he's scored or created a goal from nothing.
It still feels, quite often, like he dominates the game even when he is conserving his energy though!
One suggestion: try to shorten your episodes, perhaps to 50' long? Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion! Our pregame and midweek episodes are often shorter but we feel like we can really dive deep into the game if we let ourselves have no time restrictions.

Guys, Mascherano would never say he's not taken in consideration, I'm sure he just pointed out how hard the competition is to make the squad. The kid feels american so it's logical for him to go that way and not wait for an opportunity for Argentina.
You're probably right and we're probably reading too much into a few quotes. Thank you for the comment!
@@drivepinkdialogue you're welcome 🙌
That listing of players has changed so much and it felt like you guys made that player ranking list so recently, time flies
Yep, we're already looking forward to doing this again. Lots of new players to add to the list for sure!
Gressel is messi body guard.. he allow messi to olay free and not defend thats.. if u analise the left wing u have negri ruiz and taylor in the right only chelo and gressel.. and in my opinion busi play higer because the revs play in a small block so busi go up in the field
Gressel as Messi's bodyguard is definitely a unique and interesting take. I'll be on the lookout for that next game to see if I see the same. Thanks for the comment!
Great, insightful podcast. Glad to have found you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
🎉
Thanks for the comment! We hope you liked the show!
I don't know if people can understand that Gressel is not Messi or Busquet or Jordi. In the team's tactics, Gressel is playing quite well. In fact, he had more ball recoveries than anyone else in that game. Only he and Messi were the only ones who broke New England's lines in the first 16 minutes. He won 2/3 ground duels, made a great cross, pressing and being a support player left and right, 6 times putting the ball in the final third. ran more miles than anyone at Inter Miami convering so much spaces, and when he didn't have the ball he was always in the right place to cut off New England's passes. He's consistent, something that outside of Messi and co, the rest lack. he's not amazing, but Messi Busquet and the rest trust him. Miami holded this match thanks to Messi, Busi, Gressel, suarez and Negri. btw the one who miami should get rid soon as possible is Campana
An interesting take. I'll remind myself of this before the next game. Maybe I'll see his performance with different eyes. Thank you for the comment!
People see what they want to see.
Bummer I missed the live show. Good insights. Would love to know how IMCF fixed the 31-player roster problem!
So would we!
60k+ fans expected for NE? I think Messi definitely will start but I hope I'm wrong. I just don't trust this team to produce goals without him despite how poor NE is and we need as many points as possible before the intl tournaments.
He did play against Charlotte on turf last season, so there is precedent. I'd be fairly shocked if he didn't play at least some.
Very insightful post game show. Great breakdown of every aspect of the match. 🔥
Thank you for the kind words!
good discussions. thx!!
Thank you!
One thing is for sure, Miami has problems that players are not good enough to subs the main starters. Miami has transition problems, and only Redondo and Busquet can achieve that for the team, Busquet alone cannot carry all the weight, he doesn't have players who can associate with him. Gomez is playing well i nsome situations but he is also playing badly, we lost the last two important games due to a direct error by Gomez and Ruiz. Also outside of Messi & CO and Redondo the rest suffer when they are under press and are not precise with short or deep passes.
The team has been ravaged with injuries so far this season. Unfortunately it cost them in some very important games, but if they can manage to get everyone healthy, they should be alright.
Tata is TRASH. Always has been. He can't win anything, even with Messi.
His job security isn't what it was a week ago.
Do you know? you have some issues on your channel..?
?
@@drivepinkdialogue your video SEO score is very low.. TitleToo Short TagsToo Short Description#Too Short Cards not add End screens no add
I dont think cremaschi deserves that game breaker spot, he is a big difference maker, it’s very well shown with the fc Dallas game in leagues cup, but he isn’t a game breaker spot yet, I really love this idea though, I really don’t like CJ
Hopefully he can come back from injury with a bang. Also wouldn’t mind getting rid of CJ… he wasn’t great against NYRB.
@@drivepinkdialogue Beyond CJ's poor technical performance against RB, CJ quickly lost composure (almost child-like) and showed no potential leadership ability to rally the defense.
Benja too inconsistent to be a gamebreaker. He's a difference maker for sure, behind Redondo (1) and Gomez (2), but ahead of Taylor (4). I'd move on with Santos and find a better back up keeper. Rest I concur.
Those are some good shouts! I guess I’m hoping Benja can bring in some much needed dynamism and energy in this midfield once he’s back from injury. Alongside Gomez.. could be a game breaker.
Callender is an amazing goalie and we have seen that on so many levels, but he is very prone to mistakes. I think krytsov needs to go or at least sign a cb and make krytsov the 5th choice cb
I very much had the same thought process about what Scott said in the end, I’m just waiting for the game and need something to engage in talking about Miami, and to help pass time. I think a lot of questions I needed answering about lineup organization for this game were answered. I really liked this space, thank you and great job👏
Thank you for the kind words and being a part of the episode! Talking Inter Miami with other fans is really the best part.
Good insights in re: IMCF, Nashvile and soccer without attitude - awesome
Thank you, that is greatly appreciated!
