I immediately think of the "jumpers" anytime I see old footage taken from high up in the towers. Just the view from the safety of my phone is dizzying and terrifying, and to think that people were literally forced to make the decision to jump from up there is like taking a punch in the chest. They were people who went to work thinking they'd be going home at the end of the day, and the thought of leaping to their deaths never even crossed their minds when they left their homes that morning. There really are no words for it and for me to call it heartbreaking would still be a gross understatement. It's horrible. It's just so horrible. (I truly HATE calling them "jumpers" but it's the term they were given that everyone knows, unfortunately.)
Blame Bush and his government

Can't wait when I get one
So beauiful... 😢 I was there in March 2001. Six months before that awful day came...
I tell you a strange story. I was 11 yo in 2001. Days before I was going starting school I bought the school diary on sept 9th. The italian brand was called Seven. I chose the diary for boys, because the picture of a scooter on the cover. The inner pages were filled with pictures of New York. I liked the diary a lot. I always loved USA. The first pages were printed Twin Towers on them. With the scriptures "New York 2001". Two days after that orrible event has changed the world. When the news spreads the videoclip about the attacks to WTC, I immediately put the diary on the table, searching for the Twin Towers pics. I compared them. I was shocked. This is what I remember about those days. Sorry for my english.
March 2000 was the month I was born. I don't remember the events thankfully as I was too young. Yet to this day it is still hard to believe what transpired on that fateful day. RIP to the victims of 911. WTC 1971-2001
Soaring through the sky like eagles down down down to the ground. Remember those who flew majestically to their end.
I think the real people behind this should be forced to jump from the same hight.
You think everything that happens from behind should be forced.
I agree
What a beautiful building, it would stand for years to come
To stand in that plaza and look up at those buildings is overwhelming! When you think about their size and how many people are in them working. To red to the top and look around is mind blowing. Then to watch them hit. To watch them fall. To think about the many who died. You have no way of putting into words the pain you feel. I cried every time I watch a report. On anniversaries I cried. You are overwhelmed. There is no putting it into words. The many feelings are more than I can put into words. All these years later I still can’t do it.
Today is the day of salvation. If you hear God calling you, believe in Christ for the forgiveness of your sins and the hope of eternal life. In this world today, you just never know when you will take your last breath.
Imagine being trapped in the towers above the point of impact and looking out at these serene sights below knowing you’d never walk those streets again or breathe crisp autumn air. It must have felt “so near yet so far” between impending death and the normality of life before
Never forget the 60 construction workers who passed away building the twin towers on March 16th,1970! Must also never forget the 6 people who passed away during the February 26th, 1993. And we will never forget the 2,996 people on September 11th, 2001! Remember Phillipp Petit August 7th, 1974 when he walked between the towers, it took him 45 minutes to do so. May we all never ever forget...One love!!
yo no se xq no hicieron otras torres gemelas ese edificio nuevo es mas aburrido no tiene el aspecto que tenian las torres al mmenos hubiesen echo 2 no 1
I wish i could slap Goerge W Bush for all his Lies 👋 This was a terrible event RIP Gustavo
If i ever work in a tall building like that, I'd have a parachute 🪂 in my locker.
Nihuia svetova v vas net
Amerikanskaia mecita ubiti za dolar
A time machine needs to be invented so that I could visit these buildings in the future. It's weird to think of it in that paradoxical way.

if Minoru Yamasaki was still alive and saw the 911 tragedy in person, his heart must have been very broken and sad when he saw his masterpiece had to be destroyed along with the loss of thousands of innocent lives 💔💔💔😢😢😢😭😭😭😭🥀🥀🥀
What a sad evil world we live in
speed limit 70 XD
😓😓😓
Never take anything or anybody for granted in this life....cuz it can all be gone in a NEW YORK MINUTE 🌹🙏🌹🕊️🙌 ✝️🕯️🛐🕊️
Respect for you 💖💖
In summary, America trained and funded terrorism for years and ended up coming back to you.🤝
During the day of September 11 I was in school in Marceline Mo I knew something really bad happened because I looked out the window south of the school people in cars where lining up for gasoline. And I mean a extreme about of people in their vehicle's.
Eran hermosas e imponentes, torres gemelas
Even to this very day, it still baffles me that such an ungodly act of pure evil could occur in America, of all places. Knowing that just a year and a half after this video was recorded, the WTC would be a smoldering pile of rubble just sickens me to my stomach. None of those innocent victims deserved to die that day, much less have no control over their fate whatsoever as the towers literally collapsed around them. Not a single night goes by that I don't think about the innocent lives that were lost, and the overwhelming grief of their loved ones. 9/11 will always be one of the darkest moments in world history, and it really proves that we, as human beings, should never take our lives for granted.
What I find creepy is all these pre 9/11 videos makes me feel all these people knew something was gonna happen to these buildings and was saying goodbye and their respects without realizing.
Very hard to imagne that the tower fell after less than one hour burning unlike the North Tower but the angle of the inpact zone is obiously the reason for the struckture to fail earlier , R.I.P victims of this never forget full day 😔
We talk about this every year. One of the reasons why. It's God's pain. ......
Can u just think of having to fall to your death but they had a choice so many didn't I was pissed and I didn't cry. I feared my son was piloting United 175 that day
2000...Before America decided to commit suicide
Should have rebuilt them both, exactly the same. A true monument, indeed.
No that's to depressing
NYC skyline is almost unrecognizable to those of us who grew up in New York prior to 9/11. Its not just the absence of the twin towers but also with billionaires row, Hudson yards, grand central tower and the times sq towers the empire state building is becoming less and less prominent.
to be COMPLETELY honest i did do and will really really LOVE the world trade center
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💙💙💙😢
Shortly after made the world before and after...
Unfortunately 1 and a half years later these structures were destroyed in a senseless act of terrorism
So sad.
Pres Bush blew them up.
LOL!
Such a shame these beautiful buildings are no longer standing there. I would've loved to visit them and see New York from up there. May all the victims that lost their lives on September 11th rest in peace!
if we promote love for terroristsisms
we promoted love for all of the bitch asseshitt terrorists
The towers Have been hated by many People in basically from 1973-1991 Not many people liked the towers I sure did Heck I think the towers them selves fit in with 2022 style but yeah they we're for sure hated most by afghans 9/11 2001 as we know it was not the first ever attack The twin towers had Perhaps in 1993 The afghans or some other Terroists Decided to bomb the North or south tower but yeah there has been 2 attacks on a Extinct tower today as we know it
I wasnt alive during 9/11 but with each story i feel as though I have missed the towers just as long as my elders. It is important to remember what we lost on that day but it is just as important to remember what we have going for us now. Respect to all who lost their lives during September 11, 2001.
Everyone’s talking about 9/11 but no one is thinking about french high wire walker, Philippe Petit who did a tightrope walk across the towers
